While people like me r even afraid to quit their jobs at Tim hortons or KFC. There r people like Iqbal who easily quit their high profile jobs, just like that! However Iqbal's decision turns out to be One thing is for sure, this guy sure has guts. I mean he is the KINg Khan of Indian television and at the peak of his career he decides to quit Balaji. Its like in bollywood shahrukh decides that he would not work with Yash Chopra! I know the real king khan aka srk wud never do it but our king khan Iqbal did it! Now there r two scenarios- either Iqbal knows what he is doing or he just took this decision staright out of his heart and has no clue about his future. I hope the former senario is true and Iqbal knows what he is doing.

Iqbal surely is a great actor and he is way too good for these silly soaps and can do better than them anytime! but if he chooses to walk down a different path he would face more hurdles. Then again what is life without challenges... And most importantly we all only have one life so sometimes u gotta risk stuff to have ur share of happiness.

i agree with u... i honestly dun think it was the right choice for him to quit BALAJI at the peak of his career. iqbal has a lot of talent but if he is going to have a hard time with his comeback, seeing how balaji is at the top ite now and its gonna be hard to be in a rlly rlly successful non-balaji show and make a strong comeback. i rlly am worried about him cuz i wanna see him successful, i wanna see more of iqbal khan.. i wanna see him at the top... but observing his mainstream cinema flops, its the balaji soaps that gave him recognition and without that support, iqqu might fall... big time

She 'retired' at the peak of her career coz she wanted to concentrate on her family...

All I can say is that I'm hoping that this is a rumor...if not, then that means Karan Johar has offered Iqbal a job and that's why he's leaving the small screen. I would LOVE to see him to some good cinema on the big screen....so anything short of that better not be his reason off this show...I'll miss him--he's not only why I started watching this show, but also why I started coming to India-Forums 😭

Well, I don't understand what this entire 'challenge' these 'stars' keep talking about is??? Is making a silly decision at the peak of ur career and starting again as a struggler a challenge??? Sorry but not for me. 😆 Its like quitting the job of a CEO or MD or GM and starting to drive an autorickshaw coz its a challenge, 😆 dare I ask why someone would want a challenge like that??? Good thing this mindset doesn't agree in the business world or else Bill Gates would shut down Microsoft and start again coz he wants to challenge himself. 😆 No, I think its not the challenge its only one thing, its all about MONEY and starry attitudes!!! Sorry Iqbal, if u want a challenge, try to do versatile roles but not at the cost of the best role of ur career. What could be more challenging then playing the role of a complex character like Shiv??? That's not guts, that is madness!!!
