While both his Student of The Year co-stars – Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra – have been on a film signing spree post their debut, Varun Dhawan seems to be taking it slower in comparison, preferring to do one film at a time (Ekta Kapoor's Tu Mera Hero to be directed by dad David Dhawan).
And though a source reveals that the actor has been reading scripts almost on a daily basis and has several filmmakers queueing up to sign him as well, Varun's not in any rush to fill up his film calendar.
Confirming it, the young actor says, "I have been reading a lot of scripts since the release of SOTY."
Varun however refuses to name them. "I don't want to name the films I've said no to because I'm sure the people making them will give their 100 per cent." He adds, "I'm a newcomer so I just feel it's better for me to do one film at a time and invest my all in that instead of going on a signing spree to make a quick buck."
