With Rashid, all Asad is doing is thinking about what HE believes, what HE feels and what Rashid did to HIM.

Seconded👍🏼

I'd rather not start a topic on the whole slapping incident again, but no I didn't think it was worse, and that would be my opinion. He slapped her due a misunderstanding, and I know how wrong that was, but given the circumstance, it made sense to me. This however, is him purposely ridiculing her, degrading her for not having parents, and telling people bluntly that she doesn't deserve them. I don't know about you, but that hurts more than some slap. That is much worse than a slap because it cuts deep. Physical abuse hurts and is wrong (which I've said twice now), but the effects of emotional abuse are just as tremendous, sometimes much worse

He SLAPPED HER - Period
There is no justification there- none at all- not one bit.

Just wanted to say about the point reg Asad filing the case:
I think whether Rashid is guilty of the crime or not is not really supposed to be Asad's concern as far as filing the case was concerned... I mean, it isn't Asad's duty to be sure of Rashid's guilt before filing the case. Actually what Asad did was right. He saw Rashid digging up a corpse and he notified the police and it is up to the police to investigate the case and find out whether Rashid is guilty of the murder or not.
And even though Rashid didn't commit the murder, he is still guilty of covering up the murder and burning the factory...
