Why are people trying to make Anandi a newly wed because newly wed comes from attire and or age? 😕

Whenever we see a couple what makes us first confirm that they are newly wed...for me its more of girl's attire...her chooda and some jewellery and a bit shiny dresses...we see in serial that whenever a girl is newly wed she wears jewellery equal to 1 kg and that makes her look newly wed or her young looks

In India most of the people gets married at age of 20-25 yrs(both girl and boy) and by 30 they are either parents or a couple married for quite few years.

Now lets see AnSh

Anandi is 26 yrs old, married and mature beautiful girl

Shiv is 32 yrs old guys with sincerity and authority on his face

If you ever com across a couple with this description only if the girl has worn lots of jewellery or shiny kurta then we may think of them as newly wed or else they may even come across as parents of 2-3 yrs old child

The thing is it was only Anandi's change in attire that made AnSh look newly wed but to be honest they can never look newly wed because they have surpassed the average age in which most of Indians get married at

My point is not to force anyone to change their view point...it was just that the concept of new AnSh not looking newly wed looking weird...don't like them but this thought of newly wed looks weird on them since they married quite late

That's my POV so please i request the members to say whatever they want politely without bashing any actor on looks on DO NOT TURN IT A WAR ZONE...I BEG U !!!

I haven't seen the episode yet as I wanted to get a feel for it beforehand by going through some posts on the forum. But yes, I agree, if AnSh don't look newly wed due to Toral, then the truth is that they can't be newly wed for the rest of their lives! They will be growing as a couple and for that Toral is a rather mature face...she looks older than Pratyusha which she might be, but then again, Sid is 32 years old...as Shiv he might be anywhere from 27-30..so naturally, their age difference and physical compatibility is apt.

I don't know if the following comment applies here...but I feel like sharing it so I'll go for it. I've noticed lately that there's been a discussion on the forum about Toral being married in real life and how that kills her prospects of doing justice to Anandi and Anandi's relationship with Shiv. Pardon me, but what's wrong with being young and married and still having a career? The fact that Toral is married doesn't automatically make her old...for all we know, she's an average 26-27 year old girl who recently got married and is now getting her career back on track...that seems completely normal to me!

I hate to add this disclaimer at the end of my posts...but in light of recent events, I just wanna add that everything stated above is strictly my opinion...if you disagree, do so politely and I'll be more than happy to engage in a discussion...and if you agree, then do so politely as well and I'll be just as happy to engage in a discussion :)

@masin I do completely agree with you. Toral is very different from pratyusha. People bashing toral as she is married is completely nonsense. Prats has a boyfriend but people did not have a problem with her being so close and friendly with siddharth in all the offscreen shoots. People are just finding stupid reasons to hate the new anandi. But I do agree prats is more beautiful than toral. But if she acts really well she can look beautiful too.

I have been a keen follower of BV. I am not such a big fan of Toral as Anandi, not because she is married or anything but becuz , her acting doesn't have the sensitivity that Pratyusha had. She has to ACT to look shy or humble. she looks kinda rude to me. May be since Pratyusha was so sweet looking. and also Pratyusha and Shiv had an amazing chemistry, which Toral is lacking so bad. anyway I am still trying to watch it but for me its not the same charm anymore.

Sheets agree with you Amanda does not have to look like newly wed a girl nowadays wear the bridal attire for a week or so and after that she becomes a day to day working girl aji looks more of a happily wed lady and that is enough but .bv can make her wear light jewellery she looks so young with out makeup in sbb

I think as per the story Anandi herself is also in the same age group as Toral. Serial had so many leaps. Anandi is not that young as a character.

Difference does feel now due to age of different actresses.

I think it's got less to do with age and more to do with Toral's natural look. Even in other shows which she has done, she always looked self assured, "solid" and even when showing slight distress, her features are such that they make her look rude or aggressive.

She'll always be made to wear 1 kg of jewelry due to being a traditional Rajasthani village bred girl. (Hope they give her a makeover when she goes to Udaipur...but then if the costume is changed then show might lose its unique look...)

I feel Toral is trying but somehow does not manage to look soft or shy or reluctant when required to. I liked Shiv better than Anandi in tonight's episode.

Toral was fine in Save Mannu mission and as a hurt wife. But as newly wed or someone who found love after years...she did not seem convincing.

(Bashing her for being married in real life is pure BS! Shweta Tiwari was married and mother to a kid when she did Kasauti and she had amazing chemistry with both Anurag and Bajaj! Such regressive mindset to bash a married actress!!!)
