But he is heartless and Im damn sure he doesn't love her much less respect her at all.

He is not just selfish but a hypocrite as well. The way he is all massaging Tanveer's feet, catering to her every need, disgracing a female guest of his house and all just shows how much tehzeeb and tameez he has in himself.

Believe me if they dont make this guy repent badly then their trps will go low!
This is not like IPK where atleast Arshi romance was a bit established and had loyal fans before It went the usual Hero turns into a Jackass way.
QH is just a few months old, Asya romance is nit correctly established. I mean one rain dance that's the most romantic scene we got. Most fans here are not gonna be that loyal if it continues like this.

About his concern towards Tanu, I have no issues with it considering she is his childhood best friend, Asad is always good to his own people!
And I agree they have to redeem him in a very convincing way else don't know about others but they will loose a viewer in me, I feel the story is heading towards that, else they won't show all this regressive things, to be frank this show has a substance unlike IPK, so after showing a lot of romance they were not left with any story, but I feel here they are keeping romance limited as of now so the story progresses and then romance will come on the way!

I have seen a lot of people with the typical attitude who think woman are nothing but a second fiddle and such a behaviour starts in my house. I go through that bs everyday..
Asad is just a mere reflection of how the Indian society is even today..and its absolutely disgusting!

This is not one story, i see many ladies around me in job having same problem... there families love that they are earning but still doubting on them...

Tell me about it! Working women in India are more pressurized and stressed, it shows the strength of a woman to balance so many things at the same time and receive nothing in return! Don't know when our male species will understand this, but yeah, there are a lot of wonderful men who stand by women as their backbone😊

I can totally get what you are saying, though I myself have not such treatment at home, have seen that happening with my friends and even my mom sometimes! Some men are mean to their wives but bring up their daughters as fearless, strong, independent girl! Weird isn't it?

I agree he is good to his own people but after all Zoya has done for his family, he is being very ungrateful.
I didnt care about Tanu at all but their janam janam ki friendship is so unconvincing!
I mean This is Asad, the dude has only once given one armed hug to his sister, a pat on the head to his step sister and I dont remember the last time he laughed so openly with his mom or sis.
Sure he laughs and hugs Ayaan, he is his brother and a guy but with women, Asad keeps it to a minimum and suddenly this Tannu shows up and its like he has forgotten what tehzeeb and tameez is for him.
Believe me if some childhood chadi badi of Zoya's shows up and treats her like he treats Tannu, Asad's maha bashaana on Tehzeeb and all that would never end! Im pretty sure he would even comment on her casual behavior with some guy.

I agree on that point. IPK had romance but ni story. QH has a story and a good one infact but whats the use? If they cant treat the story properly.
The problem is the romance is limited here and so should Asad's extremely hurtful towards Zoya be limited too. Because there isn't a properly romance or love story here for him to behave in such manner with her (not saying its ok if there was a proper love story either)
But what I mean is iif you destory the character and pair in the beginning itself then you need to have good story planned out in the future to redeem them and make them the sweethearts of the viewers again.
And going by this PH's record, I dont see that happening.

Thats the bitter truth of our patriachal society..a few days back i read an article by Vikram Bhatt where he stated how inspite of thousands of movements for women empowerment we are still stuck with the same thoughts..it starts at our homes itself when a girl is asked to learn cooking whereas her brother isn't or any such small example..Men still prefer Bimbos over thesmart ones...have seen that myself like a million times. Wife material thoughts in men's brain is still cliched and sadly its difficult to change it..Men in our society prefer their women to be soft spoken..shy..basically something like a plastic doll..those girls who don't choose this road are stereotyped as spoilt brats!

Regrading Asad's treatment to Zoya, I totally agree with what you are saying, he is being the meanest and he needs a big time redemption as well as growth, change in attitude! I know PH record is not that supportive but something is making me to give them a chance this time, may be because it has Mrinal Jha also with them, and show has shaped up well storywise. I know it's difficult to show romance as well have a family story is difficult to balance, but they have done it so far, hope they continue and don't just take circles around that raaz, because after some time it will be boring to see the raaz being hidden for long!

Just a hope that we bring up our sons in a way how we want to see a real man, then slowly this patriarchal society would change!
