Ok, seeing so many posts on Asad's behavior, i thought i'd make a separate post on this..We are hardly two episodes into this track and the amount of hatred Asad has garnered is palpable..Its almost like the CVs are hell bent on ruining Asad so that the audience is more receptive to the Ayaan-Zoya track..I for one can never fathom the two of them together..Even if Asad commits murder, its impossible for me to digest that track..I'd rather have Zoya with someone else..Its not like Ayaan and Asad are the last two surviving males on earth and Zoya has to chose between the two..Honestly, Zoya deserves better..But in QH world of course, if not Asad it has to be Ayaan and the damned Zee synopsis is always there to give one nightmares..So CVs, if this not your intention, pls wrap up this track as soon as possible..I understand they have a story to tell but am sure there are other ways to do it apart from making Asad look like a jerk..Karan and Surbhi have awesome chemistry and it would be such a shame if the viewers are fed up of Asad and don wanna see the two together..Asad blasting Zoe yesterday might be understandable, given the situation but i think like many mentioned, the problem lies with the same situation repeating again and again..Asad blasting, feeling guilty, apologizing and Zoe melting into a puddle has been done to death..Personally, i have hated shows which romanticize violence..I was one of those who din flip when Asad slapped Zoya because i felt his situation was understandable and people tend to make mistakes when they are angry..But honestly, its getting a lil too much to handle off late..If they keep showing Asad screaming and Zoe shedding tears, am not sure how they are gonna make viewers feel their love story and pain at a later point in the show..I have always felt Asad was different from the male leads of the PH's previous two shows..While the other two were arrogant and abused the female leads right from the word go, Asad had this sensitivity and depth to his character which could not be missed..Thats precisely why i could relate to him despite his regressive ideologies..Am not sure whether i can mention this but the fact that they made their previous male lead unapologetic and show minimum remorse for his actions took so much away from the love story..And i was glad that wasn't the case with Asad and Zoya..Asad never manhandled Zoya apart from a couple of instances and even then, the shoulder grabbing was done more to make a point and not exactly with the intent of causing harm(apart from the slap of course though all this could have been avoided)..Despite everything, you could still feel for Asad and Zoya and root for their story..Am afraid that might not be the case anymore if they persist with this track..Asad was always a relatable character and your heart went out to him despite his flaws..Its still not late and i hope the CVs don cross the line here..Am ok with anything they show so long as they don tamper with the basic characteristion of Asad and Zoya..
I want to root for Asad and Zoya and i would hate it if they make Ayaan look like a hero at the cost of Asad
