I don't want to start a fight about them.. But this is my observation..

Asad has always been the man of the house, the one taking care of his mum and sister, and keeping them happy.

Ayaan has always been a child, and has been taken care of by Asad too.

But here we have Ayaan being the protector. He is thinking about his father and his mother. More than himself, he is thinking about them. Even though Ayaan doesn't always have an easy relationship with his father he is still thinking about his well-being.

Asad however, is coming across as a little selfish. Yes I know he seems to hate his father for leaving his mum, and he has missed out on having a father figure, but isn't his love for his mother greater than his hatred for his father? If that's the case then why isn't he thinking about her happiness and well-being? Why for her sake is he not helping his dad? By doing this, he would be keeping two of the most important people in his life, Ayaan and his mum, happy. Doesn't that mean more to him than getting revenge on his dad, especially when he doesn't know the facts?

Also his treatment of Zoya doesn't sit well with me.. This annoying Tanveer turns up, and he's all jammy jammy with her! Sometimes it feels like Zoya is invisible to him..

I'm sorry for venting. Just had to get it out of my system.
No offence intended.

I agree with... What u said is utter true...even his behaviour nowadays make me think does he really love his mother n Ayaan...or just a control freak with stupid ideologies n judgemental attitude.

Asad always think what he is doing is right without thinking about other side. He has not learnt from Akram's incident, slap incident. So now its time wen he should fall so badly on his face that he will never ever dare to judge ppl...
