Decoding tantrums

It's common knowledge how the celebs are subjected to mounting pressure and hectic travel schedules. To top it all, there is no guarantee that their work will fetch them the rewards they desire, especially film stars. Knowing your fate is decided each Friday at the box-office can be a real stomach-churner. Agrees Shashank Vyas, popularly known as Jagya of Balika Vadhu, "The amount of money, risks and pressure involved with a film star's career is very high these days. Comparatively, television actors are pampered and taken care of. If I do badly today, I know I can make up for it tomorrow because I have that many episodes to show my improvement. A film doesn't work that way. To get a chance in a feature film isn't easy and you are judged on the basis of how your last film fared."
