Maybe the secret is not that naive.. maybe jiji is Tara's real sister, but the dad is trying to tell Tara something else.. like the fact that Jiji can never become a mother.. she might have had a hysterectomy or something a few years ago which the parents know about, but Tara doesnt.

That would be a real dhoka to tara, as jiji has been acting pregnant..

The fact that Jiji is not Tara's real sister does not make things much different for Tara.. she is still making the same "sacrifice" for her.. but the fact that she can never carry a baby means she is cheating her sister and sister's family!

that's possible, but the directors won't do that because they don't want to show us that sisters can be so mean...but what you said is very realistic, but serials are more towards the unrealistic side.
