Madhur gatecrashes Don party!

At a special screening of Farhan Akhtar's Don for Priyanka Gandhi and family in Delhi, Madhur Bhandarkar and Mahima Chaudhary were uninvited guests.

After gatecrashing the event, the duo realised they were at the wrong venue!

Confusion

Present at the screening were Priyanka's husband, Robert Vadhera and some special guests. It is learnt that Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani were also present. The special screening was organised by Rajiv Shukla and Anurradha Prasad (BAG Films), and was held at the Taj Palace hotel last week.

Madhur and Mahima entered the room where the screening was being held during the interval. Refreshments were being served to the guests and everyone was taken by surprise to see them there.

Says an onlooker, "It was extremely embarrassing. Even Madhur and Mahima were uncomfortable. But Priyanka Gandhi did spare some moments with them, exchanging pleasantries. Madhur and Mahima were on their way to another event at the same hotel and got confused."

When asked about the incident, Madhur is taken by surprise. The director admits to the incident and says, "I was in Delhi for the South Asian Film Festival where Chandni Bar, Page 3 and Corporate were screened.

There was a post party at the Taj Palace and I was there with Mahima and Ashok Pandit. We barely entered the hotel when someone called out to me. Assuming he was from the party, we followed him. Once we entered the room, we realised we were at the wrong party. I spoke to Rajiv Shukla and then we left," says Madhur, whose Traffic Signal releases in January.
