I haven't read the novel but with all the posts here, I can only say, I hope the show is nothing like it. It's good to take inspiration from it and have some moments picked out and recreated but it would be saddening to see Kumud and Saras not together. I know the show has just begun and it's too soon to say anything, but I guess I already love this couple enough to say they shouldn't split up. Can;t help but worry when listen to the SaraswatiChandra theme song. 😉
Btw, Gautam Rhode as Saras, I never knew he could pull that character off so well. Wow.
