Unlike many others, I absolutely loved the episode today. It clearly showed Asad's love for Zoya and Zoya's love for Asad.
First things first, people..please don't hate on Tanveer. I truly believe that Tanveer is unintentionally bringing Asad and Zoya closer. I know it is painful to see Zoya going through this but..at the same time..this is the first time Zoya actually will realize how much she is affected by another girl in Asad's life. Because of Tanveer, Zoya is actually finding out about herself that she loves Asad and she doesn't wanna share him with anyone. You can definitely see Zoya feeling the pain of lack of ownership over Asad because of Tanveer. It's because of Tanveer that finally a deeper love story between Asad and Zoya has begun. We have seen enough of Asad and Zoya bickering, arguing, fighting..which of course led to love aswell but now is the time for deeper love and Tanveer is catalyst for that.
Asad was mad at Zoya for tricking him so he wouldn't go to the court (Asad has changed quite a bit..if you noticed, his anger wasn't as much as we all excepted) but Asad, even for a second, wouldn't ignore Zoya if he knew she was at the accident spot and hurt.
Zoya thought that Asad ignored her on purpose. I would have thought the same if I were Zoya..how could you not see me...But when Asad ran to the accident spot, he was running with an aim and that was to find out if his friend was okay..that's why he didn't pay attention to the surroundings. This is very normal..if you have your mind set on something..especially if it concerns someone that you are close to..near death experience..you wouldn't care to see who is around you and who isn't. And that explains why Asad didn't notice Zoya.
The hug issue::
When Asad hugged Tanveer, it was definitely a very friendly kinda hug. His hug totally showed that he was concerned about Tanveer. And why wouldn't he hug his childhood friend? I would have hugged my childhood friend and especially if my friend had just been in an accident. I would have hugged even longer. There was nothing wrong with that hug.
Zoya doesn't know about the friendship between Tanveer and Asad so her reaction was very realistic too. If I were Zoya, my heart would have been crushed too.
Yes, Asad was holding Tanveer's hand but it wasn't like..hey, I love you so let's hold hands..He was helping his friend walk to the car by giving her a hand...put yourself there and think for a moment..wouldn't you give your friend a hand and help a friend walk to the car especially if your friend just went through a trauma of bus accident? If I were Tanveer and if Asad hadn't given me his hand to help walk..I would have been like..What a jerk..!!! Actually, I found Asad holding Tanveer's hand very gentleman like..!
When Asad saw Zoya's iPad..you could see the pain, fear, love, passion and all such emotions in his eyes. You could tell through his body language that he is literally scared and worried for Zoya..so without giving much thought..he quickly ran..He left Tanveer and didnt even give any explanation to Tanveer..he just immediately left Tanveer and starting looking for Zoya like a crazy man screaming Zoya from the top of his lungs. His expressions when he ran for Zoya were so different than his expressions when he ran for Tanveer. Any person who has ever been in love can clearly see the difference.
Car scene::
Why was Zoya in the back seat? Well, Asad left Tanveer by the car..so who knows, Tanveer might have sat in the car by herself while waiting for Asad to come back...because Asad just left Tanveer without telling her anything. They never showed sitting in the car scene so we don't know if Asad asked Tanveer to sit in the front or if Zoya volunteered Tanveer the front seat or Tanveer volunteered herself the front seat so we can't judge on that. But what I do know for sure about the car scene is..Asad was only worried about Zoya..I noticed Asad twice looking at Zoya from the mirror..he genuinely looked worried and in pain because Zoya was hurt. Asad even had tears in his eyes and those tears were for Zoya only. And Zoya, on the other hand was just heartbroken looking at Tanveer and Asad together. So the car scene was so good and full of emotions...Asad checking up on Zoya..and Zoya looking at Tanveer and Asad together.
Dinning table scene::
When Asad entered, the first person he wants to see is Zoya..his eyes say everything..When Asad sat on the table, the only person he is looking at is Zoya. Zoya is hurt, and she doesn't wanna look at Asad so she walks away..any girl would do the same..Zoya had enough of Dilshad's explanation of Tanveer and Asad's friendship and then Asad walks in..Zoya just couldn't take it anymore.
Asad comes to Zoya's room. Zoya's wounds are hurting him. He actually spoke his heart out that I was really worried. When was the last time he openly spoke his heart out? In the past, Asad did say I would have gone crazy line but he quickly covered it up by saying that Ammi would have been worried but not this time..this time he didn't care to cover up or say it differently..he wanted Zoya to know that he was worried!!! And the way they both looked at each other was just amazing..their eyes, their expressions...just superb acting..they didn't say a word..just looked into each others eyes...
Asad doesn't realize yet that Zoya was hurting more on the inside because of him than the outside wounds that he is worried about.
There are stages of love..the more they will spend time with each other..the more they will be able to understand each other..Unspoken words..Language of eyes etc...but right now, they haven't reached that stage...Zoya doesn't realize that he only loves her and Asad doesn't realize that Zoya is in pain because of his closeness with another girl.
Introduction: People please be practical..he can't introduce Zoya to Tanveer as Hey Tanu, this is the girl that I am falling in love with or perhaps already fallen in love with..or Hey Tanu, this is the guest that I don't want ever to leave etc etc etc..Asad stated reality..yes, Zoya is a guest.. It hurt Zoya..it would hurt me but what other way he could have introduced Zoya? Asad doesn't know how Zoya feels for him..so he couldn't say anything else..he stated the truth!!!
When Tanveer came in Asad's room, Tanveer took his hand..hey, everything is gonna be okay..I would be jealous, sad if I were Zoya and saw Asad with Tanveer like that. But it was so clearly shown that Asad and Tanveer weren't having a romantic moment..but to Zoya it looked like that..
So this whole Tanveer track looks like just a big misunderstanding between Asad and Zoya. What I think about the misunderstanding that everyone is speaking about is..Asad doesn't know that Zoya loves him. Zoya doesn't know that Asad loves her. But we all know that in reality, Zoya loves Asad, Asad loves Zoya but Zoya thinks that Asad loves Tanveer and she will find out soon that she is wrong because Asad only loves Zoya.
I have read quite a few posts about viewers quitting the show/taking a break from the show..they don't wanna watch Tanveer..but guys, just enjoy the journey. If love stories were so simple, there wouldn't have ever been Paro and Devdas, Romeo and Juliet, Raj and Simran, Edward and Bella, Veer and Zaara, Jack and Rose Dawson, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy..you can add more names... I am just excited and looking forward to watch an Epic love story between Asad and Zoya!!! There will be tears, but there will be laughter..there will be confusions..but there will be clarity too..There will be misunderstandings but there will be true, honest confessions too..there will be bitterness, rage, anger, but there will be Love too, Unconditional love! So yes, enjoy the ride..take episode as it comes..!!! And keep loving Asad and Zoya! :)
About the precap:: The episode hasn't happened so I really don't wanna state any matter-of-fact kinda thingy but if you notice in the precap, Asad is only hugging his Ammi and Najma!!! If he had intended to hug Tanveer, he could have easily extended his arms and sort of given a group hug but he didn't! He's only hugging his family!!! So Zoya isn't the only one left out, he isn't hugging Tanveer aswell! He's just having a moment with his Ammi and Najama!!! His Ammi hasn't spoken to him in days..so he's just happy to have his Ammi by his side. But again, the episode hasn't happened so we really don't know the full scenario. I am sure that Asad wouldn't ever hurt Zoya on purpose and try to make a point that she isn't his family!!!
P.S. I want Tanveer to be the positive character. And if they have to make her a negative character, I want Asad to choose Zoya before finding out that Tanveer is a wrong person. But it would be GREAT to watch Tanveer as a positive character and stay positive and Asad picking Zoya even when his supposed Miss perfect wife material is around him.
