Before war of words breaks out and things are said which offends and upsets people, please lets all take a deep breath and think.
Sugni does not know she is married.
TVS knows that they are both married to different people. So he knows this is not a valid marriage.
Since he has met her he has tried to protect her from the protitution trade (Please lets not get into why she is there. Lets just accept she is there and move on). He even paid more money than Devarkar for her but that has not stopped Devarkar.
So how does he keep her safely away from the protitution trade? Today its devarkar, tomorrow it will be someone else and the one after that. How many does he outbid and fight.
He could say she is married to Adi.
Problem - she does not remember so cannot corroborate, No one knows Adi so chances of TVS being believed zero. Also when he showed the Mangal sutra to Amma and said he will prove that Chulbuli is Sugni then Amma did drama infront of the street and they all agreed that Chulbuli was Amma's daughter and had grown up there.
When he left with chulbuli he intended to take her back to havali, to her old life and husband. But the Doc has now told him that nothing should be said that may stress her brain otherwise it could will result her being brain dead. So he cannot take her to the havali where she may be haressed. He said he would leave her at the Kotha but can he really do that - No.
So what option does he have?
Please remember finding her and making amends is his salvation so this is a marriage of convenience to keep her safe. Nothing more.
