At the same time sameer entered with pallavi and sleeping dia. His heart cried seeing his friend's plight. He knew this was the strongest blow to him. even pallavi had tears seeing pale Arjun clung to shree crying and mumbling.

Doc: please aap sab log baahar jaayiye… please let me handle this.

Sam,pallavi and anvi nodded and left the room. But shree refused him straight away saying his senior needed him. doctor injected him sedatives and slowly went to sleep with tears in his eyes.

Shree after confirming that he would be sleeping for few hours now left the room too. He knew that he had to stand as a pillar to the entire family of his. Arjun was in no condition to take care of even himself and sameer, pallavi, anvi and chotu wer too absorbed in Krishna's worry. He had no trust on Aisha and even riya's safety was there to be taken care of. Hospital formalities and all……… he knew he had to stay strong for them. For his didi…. He took a deep breath, composed himself and marched out. He looked no longer like a 25 yrs old boy pampered by his bros and sis. He looked like a father trying to keep his family intact in its tough times, like a mother trying to take care of every single child of hers.

He went to canteen and took some food and went to his bro, bhabhi and chotu. He gently kept his hand on his shoulder and grabbed his attention. He handed him his plate and asked him to have it. He gave plates to every one. But he saw no one even glanced it save alone have it. He knew they were in no way to have it. But he had to do it.

Shree took a plate and cleared his throat grabbing everyone's attention. He purposely smelling it, said: arre waah itna tasty khana hai…. Mai nahin jaanta tha ki hospital ka khana bhi itna tasty hoga…. Aap log bhi khake dekho na…. waah…. Chotu, dekh na….. tujhe bhook nahin lagi hai kya????? Dada, aap to khao na….. bhabhi, dia bhi bhookhi hogi…aisha, riya anvi khao na…. wo plates aap logon ke saamne aarti ke liye nahin rakha hai….khane ke liye hai…

chotu(tearfully): tujhe ab khane ki soch aayi bhi kaise shree…. Taayi wahan OT mein zindagi aur maut ke beech lad rahi hai aur tujhe yahan masti sooji hai????

Shree: nahin chotu… main ye didi ke liye kar raha hun… wo mujhe kya kahegi jab hosh mein aake ye dekhegi ki maine family ka khayal nahin rakha???? Khaana to mujhe bhi pasand nahin hai, jab didi wahan hai…. But atleast for her have something…. Please…… agar aap log unse itna pyaar karte ho to please don't refuse…..

He himself made morsels and fed each one of them. Every one who saw them from far wondered who that little boy was?he was shattered himself but stood strong for others….. all admired them and their bond. Everyone prayed for the one person in OT who was struggling for her life…….

Shree stood to the promise he made to himself. He took care of everyone, looked after the hospital formalities. He even contributed for the investigation.

A person asked shree:who is admitted beta?

Shree: my sister.

Person: but aap ek hi family ke nahin lagte….bura mat maan na beta... maine isliye poocha kyunki, wo dono rajasthani mein baat kar rahe hai, wo marathi mein and you were infront of Bhagwanji's murti speaking in Bengali…. Jus curious to know…

Shree: yes. We are no a single family, yet we are one. Kya hua agar hum ek dusre se khoon ke rishtey se bandhe nahin hai???? Dil ka rishta to sab se bada hota hai na???? aap please God se mere didi ke liye pray kijiye….. she is soul of our family..

Person: definitely beta…… aapki didi bilkul theek hongi….

after some time, all were bit settled... anxious, shattered but calm.

Shree and riya were going through the things given to them by nurse. They were kishu's belongings.

Suddenly,

Riya: shree, see this….

Shree: kya hua ri….

Riya: ye didi ka bullet proof jacket….. bullets iske paar gaye hai…. But kaise???

Shree: iska matlab kisi ne jacket badli hai….. par kisne???

Officer upadhya: ji mr shree… aap ne mujhe bulaya?

Shree: yes officer. Ye jacket aaphi ne ACP Krishna ko diya tha?

Officer: ji nahin sir. We had all the jackets ready. Unhone pehle saare jackets check kiye and she went to look at blueprint of the building. By the time she came back only one jacket was left. She wore that itself…

Kya hua… koi problem hai?

Shree: ye jacket nakli hai…… its not bullet proof.

Officer: kya???? How is it possible?????

Shree: yahi to pata karna hai officer… ab aap ja sakte hai. Agar koi info mila to you will contact me.

Zebbie: aishu aishu relax… ek baar dheere se soch.. agar who tujhse pyaar karte the, tumse izhaar kiya hota and then he now says he loves some1 else, that would be something that should hurt you. But its not the case. He never said he loves you right??? agar woh unse pyaar karte hai then be happy that your love is happy…

Aisha: how can I be happy zee?? How i feel like taking her out of my way and get my Arjun back...

Zebbie: ye tu kya………………….

Agar tum unki khushi chahti ho to unhe tum tumhare pyaar ke bandhan mein baandhne ki koshish nahin karogi…..agar tum unhe firbhi apne pyaar mein baandhna chaha to iska matlab you are selfish.

Aisha: riya, I cant do that..

Riya: even I thought that Aisha… but ye pyaar, ye sab sikha deta hai. Agar dil mein apne pyaar ki khushi maangogi to itna to himmat milega hi kit um unkeliye apne pyaar ko bhi kurbaan kardo….. tum iss poore duniya ko khatam kar sakti ho apne pyaar ke liye ya khud ko uski khushi keliye...

Aisha: no riya…..i wont be able to do that… I am not you….selfless… I want to be selfish….

Riya: tumhari marzi Aisha… mujhe jo kehna tha maine keh diya…. Agar tum didi ke bina sir ko imaine karsakti ho to karke dekho. Ya to wo tumhe dikhenge hi nahin, ya o pehle waale akdu, khadoos boss dikhega jo kabhi kisi ko pyaar nahin karega ya apne dil ke nazdeek chodega…ya uss se bhi worst... take your time Aisha…. But take correct decession.. agar tum chaho I am with you always..

She patted her shoulder and left her alone with her thoughts

Aisha nods and sits on bench crying silently.
