Episode 120

Adidev(now seeing Parvati) : Paru

Parvati: mm

Adidev: come near me know?

Parvati(now went to the door and locked the door and came to him and saw him with a calm face): Hmm

Adidev(with a sorry face): Sorry

Parvati: For what?

Adidev: For maa slapping you, for maa sending you to your home. For the way my family treated you. I am really sorry.

Parvati: Adi for this you never need to ask sorry to me. Maa only slapped me know? She has all rights in me because I am her daughter in law. And I can accept whatever your family do to me Adidev because I love you. I have got a husband who respect me and my feelings. For that husband I can accept anything from his family.

Adidev(seeing her with a calm face) : This shows your great heart Parvati. Really my respect and love is increased a lot on you.

Parvati: Hmm okay now sit in the bed. Let me unpack our things and then after sometime let's have lunch.

Adidev went to the bed and sat in the bed and rested his back in the head rest. Parvati started to unpack their bags.

NEXT DAY..

It was morning 11 o clock were Adidev was watching TV sitting in the bed. His phone rang being in the lamp table were he turned off the TV and took his phone and saw a unknown number. He picked the call and kept the phone in his ear.

Adidev: Hello..

Man Voice: Am I speaking to Mr. Adidev Parekh?

Adidev: Yes

Man voice: This is Prem malhotra, assistant commissioner of police.

Adidev: Yes Mr. Malhotra

Prem: Actually your area police station has got a complaint regarding you getting shot. As you are a important person to the society the case has got moved to commissioner office. Commissioner told me to investigate your case. I want to know what happened on the day you got shot, regarding that I need to meet you. Are you in hospital or home sir?

Adidev: I got discharged yesterday and I am in home only. When can you come?

Prem: I can come within next one hour sir. You are in the address which is mentioned in the compliant know?

Adidev: I am not sure what address my father has given in the compliant. I am in No. 7, AD mansion, Mehta road, linking road, Juhu.

Prem: Okay sir I will meet you soon.

Adidev: Mmm(he cut the phone)

Time moved and it was 12.10 were Adidev came down to the hall and sat in the sofa carefully managing his arm sling and started to wait for Prem. As he was waiting the intercom rang being in the tea poi were Adidev took the intercom and kept it in his ear.

Adidev: Hello.

Security: Sir police assistant commissioner Mr. Prem malhotra has come to meet you.

Adidev: Allow him inside.

Security: Yes sir.

It was next 5 minutes were Prem came inside the house and now Adidev got up and showed his right hand to him.

Adidev: Adidev parekh.

Prem(giving his hand to Adidev): Prem malhotra.

Adidev: Please take your seat.

Now both Adidev and Prem sat in the sofa.

Prem: Heard a lot about you and your success sir. Happy in meeting you.

Adidev: Mmm. What would you like to have hot or cold?

Prem: That's okay sir I don't want anything. After this meet I am going to have my lunch only.

Adidev: Got it.

Prem: Can you tell me about the day you got shot?

Adidev: sure..

Adidev now calmly said what happened on the day he got shot. He said about not able to see anyone around the building while he got shot. He said about not hearing the shooting noise as well while he got shot.

Prem(listening carefully): What do you think sir? Who could have vengeance on you to the level of shooting you. I mean any of your business enemies?

Adidev(seeing Prem) : Mr. Prem actually everyone know my name but people never know my face. I too never like showing my face to the world or media. To be frank I don't have any enemies and all. My Doubt is if anyone tried to shoot my wife?

Prem: sir what are you telling?

Adidev: I don't know why I am feeling this but I am not sure. I want you to find out the shooter.

Prem: Thanks for the information sir. I will move the case soon. Your wife?

Adidev: She is studying. She has gone to college.

Prem: Okay sir.

Adidev: Mr. Prem see to that this case is not revealed to media. Please don't expose my face or the news of me getting shot to media.

Prem: It will be confidential sir. I will investigate the case and when their is an improvement let me call you.

Adidev: Hmm okay.

Prem got up and giving a smile to Adidev and started to move from there.

4 DAYS LATER...

It was Saturday evening were Adidev and Parvati were standing in the terrace and feeling the chill breeze of evening 6.30.

Adidev(seeing Parvati) : Paru..

Parvati: Hmm

Adidev: Actually I need to tell something to you.

Parvati: Hmm tell.

Adidev: 4 days back assistant commissioner came to our house and enquired about the gun shot. I said eveything happened that day. He said he will investigate and get back to me.

Parvati(seeing him) : Why you didn't tell me 4 days back itself?

Adidev: I don't want to disturb you during your college days. I know you are preparing for your placements and you are studying hard for the last semester so only I thought I can tell to you when you are free.

Parvati(with a emotional smile) : You know what I don't know what good I did in my previous birth I got you as my husband. How you are able to understand me this much?

Adidev(with a smile): Because I love you Parvati.

Parvati now with a smile came close to him and hugged him on the right side well. Adidev too with a smile hugged her well.

It was exactly 4.10 when Adidev finishing all the formalities in the commissioner office and finally Prem took Adidev to the cell where the shooter was sitting in a chair and a table was in front of him. The shooter was a middle aged man his face said he is a person to do illegal work.

Prem: Checking all the possible CCTV footage in your area we were able to see his movement. Before 10 minutes to the time you got shot we were able to see him getting into the building which was under construction. That building was two building away from your house. He has used silencer gun and shot you. After shooting he has hided himself in the construction building. And one more record he is a professional illegal shooter. He is already on the files of police for many cases but none of his shooting was proved that is why he is roaming around the city..

Adidev: (listening to everything): Can I talk to him?.

Prem: Yes sir you can..

Adidev(now went and sat in the chair opposite to shooter and seeing him well and in a calm tone) : See I am sure you don't have any vengeance on me. I am sure you didn't shoot me on your own because I have never seen you before and we are not a familiar person to each other. My motive is not punishing you. All I want to know is why did you shoot me?

Shooter: You will make me to be in the jail because you are a big personality so all my answer is I didn't shoot you.

Prem(came to him) : How dare you lie? Footage is telling it's you only but you are telling lie.

Adidev: One minute Mr. Prem.. (seeing the shooter) : See if you tell the truth I will leave you. If you don't tell the truth I will finish your life like anything.

Shooter : Sir I am a person who does all illegal works without thinking anything.

Adidev(now with a calm smile): I am Adidev parekh Mr. Shooter. If I give a complaint against you know you cannot even imagine how worst your life will turn. Again I am reminding you my motivate is not punishing you just tell me why you shoot me?Then I will leave you free.

Shooter saw him with a silent face were Adidev too was seeing shooter's face.

Adidev(waiting for 10 minutes and seeing Prem) : Mr. Prem you have all the proof know that he only shot me..

Prem: Yes sir there is a footage of him getting into the construction building 10 minutes before the time you got shot. With his old records we can prove him as the person who shot you..

Adidev: Then file the complaint against him. Do whatever you can and make this man to be in jail for his lifetime.

Shooter(now with a feared face) : No no sir. ...no.

Adidev: Hmm means what should I do now?.

Shooter: Let me tell the truth sir. Save me sir.

Adidev: Mmm tell the truth..

Adidev now had a hell shocked face. For a while he got the pain of losing Parvati. He was not able to imagine what would have happened if Parvati got shot. He got to know he would have not bared it.

Adidev(now in anger) : How dare you try to shoot my wife. Who said you to do it?

Shooter: Sir it was KOMAL madam who said me to shoot your wife.

Adidev had a shocked face were he never ever thought Komal will go to this extreme.
