Very well explained!
Madhav has been looked down upon and ignored many times since his childhood..as we saw in the school episode, for not having a conventional pretty face!

He has developed a sense of inferiority complex from then and that resulted in a "Madhav" who is not convinced enough that he'd be liked/loved by anyone despit being a successful gentleman with a good heart!

Very well written post Neha... I completely agree...
Even in 5th March episode, Madhav was talking to Aradhya through Gupta ji normally and kept talking realising that Gupta ki has left the cabin ... At the end of the scene, when Aradhya pointed out that Gupta ji is not there, suddenly his hands started shaking as he was alone in the cabin with Aradhya... It shows that he is suffering from complex of his looks...

nice post and nice characterisation from cvs even i have this phobia i cant face group of people that is becoming a very big hurdle to my career but what to do i am like this and after seeing madhav's insecurities sometimes i cry such a depth in that character
