Yes it's about Tanveer's entry. Blah! Just read it. :x

oOo

Zoya sat in the backseat of the car. Funny, she was sitting in the front seat a few hours back, taunting her Jahanpanah six packs about the person she had been talking to on the phone with utmost care. And now suddenly, in a span of a few hours, she was sitting in the backseat with another woman occupying her spot next to him in the car. Irony.

After their rendezvous last night, Asad seemed extremely fidgety and disgruntled when they woke up with her head on his shoulder and his head over hers, denoting care and gentleness. He recollected last night's session of them getting close and him opening up to her like he'd never done to anyone before. This made him even more impulsive. Zoya went back to change with a slight frown but when she returned, an empty house greeted her.

She spotted the note stuck on the mirror and read it out aloud.

'I have to leave right away to make it to the court's hearing, I'm sure you can find a lift to drop you back home. Go ahead and use your resources, I have no time to waste over you and stupid games.'

As the note fell from her hands, she realized that he had realized that it was her ultimate plan to stop him from reaching the court on time. Somehow after last night she felt he was shedding the last of his insecurities to her, confiding in her. And the song that he sung, it was magical. So beautiful that she couldn't stop herself from losing herself in him. But apparently it was not the same from his end.

Sighing she picked up her I-pad and her sling bag and went out. To her immense luck, she had found a person who helped her grab a bus that would drop her on the outskirts of Bhopal. From there she could locate her house, sorry, his house.

She sat in the bus, next to a beautiful girl with a photograph in her hand and a gorgeous smile on her face. Maybe she was about to meet her loved one. It didn't take even a minute for Zoya to indulge in a conversation with her. She said her name was Tanveer. What Zoya didn't know was how she was going to change her life forever.

In the next few seconds, everything went haphazard. The bus driver lost control over the bus and rammed into a tree, leaving most people on board injured, some extremely injured. Zoya and Tanveer held on to each other but couldn't avoid those tiny scratches on their faces. As they got down the bus slowly, the panic-striken people started running here and there asking for help on the deserted road. That's how Zoya and Tanveer lost track of each other.

Suddenly a breath of air caressed Zoya's face and instantly her face lit up with a bright smile. Her Jahanpanah six packs was here to save her. She shut her eyes and turned to face him. She wasn't wrong when she had felt him. He was actually there, caught up in the sudden traffic jam due to the accident. She saw hurriedly get down from the car and run in her direction.

Zoya opened her arms to let him take her in. She smiled softly as he was descending closer to her. But after that, everything went in a blur. In that fraction of a second, her smile vanished in to thin air. He had just passed by her, not even looked at her for a moment. He ran to someone behind her. Who could that be?

She turned to look at Asad halt his super-fast steps and take a girl in his arms, not her. Zoya looked carefully and tried to calm her rapidly beating heart rate. He was hugging Tanveer! Was she dreaming? Did Asad really ditch her and go and hug some random chick? Suddenly she was pushed in to the dark realms of reality.

Tanveer mentioned her long lost childhood friend, Asad. Asad! Asad Ahmed Khan! She thought it was some other guy! She had even heard them talk on the phone as she informed him that she would reach Bhopal in an hour approximately. But she never knew it was him! Her Jahanpanah Six Packs! Her Asad!

She saw him remove his handkerchief and wipe those ugly blood clots forming on her beautiful skin. Her mood became nostalgic as she remembered how once he had wiped the mud off of her face when she had almost died. He had been scared for her exactly the same way. So was this how he treated every girl? She had hugged him the previous day after 4 months of acquaintance and that too by her will. And this chick meets him for the first time in front of so many almost dead people and he hugs her?! Like his life depended upon it.

Tanveer calmed Asad down as he was now frantic about how the wounds had turned out and if there were any hidden bruises. She told him she had a friend who was equally hurt and she wanted to help her too. Asad agreed only after making sure she was fine to help others. He asked her to identify her friend amongst the crowd. Tanveer pointed at Zoya who stood there tearing and bleeding.

For a second Asad didn't realize it was Zoya. It was much of a shock to find her here. As soon as realization sunk in, instead of noticing her tears and wounds, his anger took over. But he would never not help those in need. Specially when she was his mother's favorite. Just a guest.

So he walked upto her and asked Tanveer to bring her to the car. Not making any conversation with her whatsoever. That hurt Zoya even more. Was she really that bad? Did he really mean all those hurtful things he had said to her in the last 4 months? Specifically after last night. Did he not feel the sparks or the mutual attraction between them?

She sobbed as Tanveer took hold of her and brought her to Asad's car. She made her sit behind and sat in front with Asad herself. Zoya was too hurt to analyze anything at that moment. Asad got into the driver's seat and made Tanveer buckle up her seatbelt immediately. He asked her one last time if she was okay and if she wasn't he would stop ahead for some food and medication. But she just smiled and Asad smiled back, completely ignoring the heart-broken girl in the backseat of his car. And just like that she knew..She wasn't going to be his priority, not anymore.

oOo

Definitely NOT how I wanted the Asad-Zoya-Tanveer meeting to go. But after the new segments of the sequence, I'm positive about this. Let's hope for the best. Wrote this in a hurry, hope there are no blunders. :)

Nicely written.
Don't know what the latest updates are...

But I really hope she does not stay heartbroken for long.

In fact, I wouldn't mind if she gave jahanpanah another lesson on how to treat his lady love...a little more painful than the firangi GF one right now...but... priorities first!

I'm planning to write a part on Zoya's hurt too. Ranging from the slap he gave her to the ignorance. Lets see how stuff works out. :)

This is AWESOME
But painful.
You portrayed both of their emotional state was perfectly.
The more I read your work, the more I fall for it.
I'm so grateful that I get to read such amazing works in this forum.
I can't thank you more for this.
Words fall short to describe your work.

? Marcel Proust
