Thank you for your lovely replies, guys!

I totally agree when most of you say that Kumud is much more relatable in the precap than she was earlier. Not everyone can identify with what Kumud feels for Saras and it's justified. I personally don't either 'coz I am not that kind of a person but I know a connection when I see one. Give it some time and if my hope is correct, the story is going to slowly unfold layer by layer. The main plot starts NOW when Saras has rejected Kumud. So far was just the foundation. Saras isn't wrong either. He's actually saving Kumud from being married to a man who can apparently never love her the way she deserves to be as his wife and he is being honest about it. Hopefully, that misunderstanding will clear out soon once Saras has the guts to apologise. Looking forward to their confrontation in Gujarat (=

The title of the post totally forced me into responding!
I absolutely LOVE this quote and it holds VERY true...once a woman is hurt/her self respect has been played with, you don't even wanna be found near her...and it's not only because she becomes EVIL, but because she becomes STRONG, after enduring so much!
I liked the way she stood up for herself and her family.

WEll, somewhat my thought exactly...but it was clear that it wasn't love, it was merely an infatuation. I mean. seriously how many of us have been infatuated and have gone through that feeling. It's not exactly love--She has just seen her eyes and from what I saw I felt she had a hero--worship for those eyes more than actual love.

Anywho, It's about her standing up for her family and the instance she put her father before herself made her my favourite on-screen fictional character till date. I really can't wait to see what SLB has in store for her character.
