Saras is in hot water, eh? If I have to be honest, I'd say this is the first episode of the show I've liked. I know a lot of us find it a little hard to connect to how Kumud is so keen on her marriage with Saras already and I still feel that her feelings aren't 'love' yet. But she does feel a connection with him which makes her curious to know him more. It is no coincidence that she sees his eyes in her dreams.
But I think more than anything, Kumud is sad and upset for her family. She is right in her place to think that Saras has played with the sentiments of her family by rejecting her when his father was the one to send the proposal. She doesn't know that Saras wasn't even asked for his opinion. It tears her to think how disappointed her family members would be and seeing their happy and enthusiastic faces doesn't help. She is bound to feel embittered.Point of the post is, I love the side of Kumud I saw in the precap.
