By replacing main lead always killed the serial

Michell Raheja was replaed by Handsome dashing Shabbir Ahluwalia , Result: serial lost its charm and ended soon. Ram milaye jodi when main lead male actor was replaced the channel ended the serial. I can go on an on. If channel will replace pratusha this will end within few months. 1st of all reduced viewership will kill the TRP. I know many of us watch for Shiv but not with Jagya, Ganga or Tores we liked him with Prat.,No Prat no BV.

Moral of this is please don't replace Prat. Specially who has such a huge global fan following. Prat if you want to leave this serial then think 1000 times before you do. Jo haath mein hai aur successful hai usko chhod ke kisi anjane project ko lena Bewkoofi hogi. Balika Vadhu se tum ho tum se Balika vadhu nahee hai. Jis serial par tumne itni mehnat ki usko yunhi barbaad karna chahogi kisi anishit project ke liye? ya phir bekar ke ego ke liye? Maan jao tum sabse aagemein chhoti ho chhoti hee rahogi.

So stay with BV and director /producer mana lao usko kyonki yehi win- win situation hoga both side se.

Not in all cases. We have example of Saath nibhana saathiya. Still having good TRPs.

@Munni_123 saath nibana saathiya the main lead is not as popular as anandi. Anandi is an iconic character all over india and other countries too. So the trps will get affected big time. Dont compare the couple of that serial with BV ansh. They r not as popular as ansh.

Show will suffer, no doubt. I'm surprised they couldn't sort out what ever problems they had. There are contracts and contractual obligations and clauses to keep it in check. They all are adults, aren't they?

saathiya dosent hav large viewership plus its mostly watched by housewives who wont waste their time in online protests and calling channel...Yeah there was protest but not on large scale..
Besides the replacement is not bad...Infact she is better than Jia manek I feel...

There are many evidences... if somebody ever think about Tulsi you'll imagine straight away Smriti Iran not Gautmi... If you'll imagine Anuraag it must be Chezan Khan... If you'll imagine Gopi bahu she must be Gia... If I ever imagine a grown-up Anandi she would definitely be Pratyusha...

You know some serials have such good story line that the characters over-shadow the actors! I must say BV is one of them and so it wouldn't affect BV so much when Pratyusha has left (strictly my POV). Yes, she sure had a great presence and created magic with Siddharth on-screen but then the characters of Shiv and Anandi have already become so iconic that BV is watched more for its strong story line. Neha Marda, Vibha Anand, Vikram Massey and Avika Gor, Avinash Mukherjee left the show even Anjum left the show but more than Anjum it is the character of Gauri that has left its strong presence behind! We have accepted many changes in the past and now we all hardly notice it! The new actors who stepped in their shoes have jelled so well with the story that we don't miss the presence of earlier actors as such and anyway, with time leaps the characters too should be shown changed right? Then why complain? Wait, relax and let us see where new Anandi takes us. PH hasn't so far made a major mistake in casting and so this time around too I don't see them losing out on their winning show. Asking an actor to quit like some of you are demanding Sid quitting the show, isn't the answer to the problem but being sensible and watching the story of Anandi (whether played by Avika, Pratusha or Toral) is the right thing to do.
