Well, see, village people aren't stupid, they just learn not to speak against others, but not all villagers are the same. Besides that, Vidya was brought up to respect others and never talk back or stand up...so she still needs time to learn to stand on her feet. So you can't criticize her for not speaking against Sindoora or the others. And also education has a big role to play a part in a person's life, the more educated you are the more different perspective and attitude you have in life, but Vidya isn't educated so she can't really stand up to them-YET. Eventually she will learn tactics and then she will claim her rights, you just have to be patient, I agree with you, there are certain barriers and border lines, but we would all know how to deal with Sindoora if we were in Vidya's place but unfortunently Vidya is still progressing.
