Indeed it is the intoxication of love as bittuji states that does not let Rk drown his feelings in alcohol š³ Rk is definitely going through a tug of war between his king sized ego and his passion and love for madhu.
He cannot digest the feeling that he has indeed lost his heart to a simple chawlgirl who according to him humiliated and insulted him in public! He cannot stand her ignoring him and wants her to be affected as much as she has affected him.She affects him worse than scotch! Just to get a reaction out of her to prove that he has the upper hand he even goes to the extent of getting Dipali whose acid tongue makes the toughest people cringe.
Madhu has indeed reached her saturation point but still maintains her dignity. She seems intent on not giving Rk the pleasure to see her broken and rightly so!!
The need of the hour is for Rk to realise that he needs Madhu to survive! Defeating her may give his ego a momentary boost but his real hapiness lies in her love š
