I'm actually a bit double minded about Sanchi..I can't seem to decide whether I completely like her or not. I think her character is that of a typical, slightly bratty younger sister...being a younger sister myself I can relate to her obsession with her brother...so fair enough..it's realistic.
What I don't understand is her immaturity...I mean, if I even dared to ask my bhabhi such questions, and then taunt her about not being intimate with my brother, and then furthermore take the issue to my mother...I would be slapped across my face. Period. My parents would not tolerate such behaviour at all! And that's my only problem with the Shekhars...sure they scold Sanchi for her behaviour, but they don't take any serious actions that would make her stop. She's always rescued by someone or the other when she's getting scolded by Daddu or Alok, and otherwise, if she runs away from the situation, then the issue is forgotten by the next morning! 😕
Realistically, she shouldn't even be in Circuit House anymore..she has a college to return to!!! I think the CVs just need to give her some proper screen space so they're just giving her silly scenes...but I'd much rather prefer that both Sanchi and Choti Maa leave Circuit House and give the new couple some much needed privacy to sort themselves out in their new lifestyle! After that, I'd love to see the whole family visiting each other between Kesar Bag and Circuit House on the weekends as Shiv had earlier promised his Maa 😊
Oh and one last thing as I end this rant...I hope Sanchi's character is better utilized to make Anandi realize that she can't keep running off to her maayka! Anandi never did that when she moved from Bilaria to Jaitsar...she even told her Maa that she is not going to leave her in-laws despite of what Jagya did to her. I think she should maintain the same attitude about her new in-laws...just because she's now living an independent life with Shiv and without ALL of her in-laws doesn't mean that they don't hold enough value in her life...she needs to stay in Circuit House..whether she's bored or not, she needs to stay in her new home and find something to keep her busy instead of always running off to Badi Haveli! So if anything, I'm hoping that Sanchi and maybe even Choti Maa..both help Anandi realize this and I hope that Anandi realizes it with a normal attitude, instead of feeling all sad and thinking that she's making a sacrifice and blah blah blah... 🥱
