It was such an amazing and heart touching movie! I seriously cannot fathom how it did not work in India, it was a brilliant piece of work by a brilliant actor! I want him to do more films like swades but I guess the audience didn't "accept" him in that kind of role so the others like it won't work either? I dunno, it was a great film and SRK nailed it, should have done well.

SRK is very influential and inspiring for many peoples around the globe!!!

swades was one movie which deserved to be a HIT

The train scene which already mentioned is also my fav scene n very well enacted by srk

I would love to see many more such movies from Srk

SRK was, is and will always be the undisputed King of bollywood he is the face of bollywood. So many western people know who SRK is it's amazing and I know many ladies from europe who are from european countries and are big fans of SRK. They even learned a little bit of hindi for SRK.

My dad who rarely cries during movies...gets teary eyed evertime he watches Swades.
I think my dad was pretty close to going back as well...he really missed India after watching the movie
