I'm no Indian yet the movie touched me and showed the true picture of an Asian country which I could relate to. It's one of the best and meaningful Indian flicks I've watched

My fav moment is when Mohan buys water from a street kid and drinks it. It was emotional

Loved Swades ... As mentioned above the train scene is the best ... it lasts in mind forever ... Wish SRK did something like Swades now !

A gem of a movie...done by a gem of an actor...IMPACT kaise nahi hota...

@ Nadz...although the movie is about an NRI and India...its a very GENERIC movie...and a person of any nationality can relate to it...

Yes!

I went all senti during that scene where he meets a farmer and the farmer's story on how he struggles every day to feed his family. There are many more moments which are quite memorable in the flick

The romance between the leads was quite simple and sensible too. Loved Gayatri Joshi's work, she was amazing
