HESITATION... AN ARHI SAGA

CHAPTER 1 'ANGREZI BEAT TE'

Khushi was sitting in her cabin when there was a knock on the door.

Cindy: merry Christmas ma'am.

Khushi: hey! Merry Christmas in advance Cindy. Why don't you take some time off? I mean I know that you might have to do some last minute shopping.

Cindy: mmm actually ma'am I needed to go to a party.

Khushi: Wow! party? cool… you may leave.

She said this and turned towards her laptop.

Cindy: mmm… Actually I came here to invite you. Everyone from 'JUST DAZZLE!' will be joining so… please!

Khushi: Oh no no… I don't party.

Cindy: Please ma'am.

Khushi: Sorry ci… she could not complete her sentence when all her staff members gathered on the door.

Everyone: please!

Arnav: NK tu ja mujhe bohat kaam hai.

NK: chal na! It's Bill's bachelor party and you know what that means.

Arnav: No!

NK: chal na!

….

Khushi enters club BASILISK.

After 15 minutes Arnav and NK enter the same club.

An Indian famous song was being played by the DJ on someone's request.

NK pulled Arnav on the dance floor and then there was no tomorrow for both of them. Both of them danced as if no one was watching and Arnav entertained everyone with his funny steps. He was doing typical Indian steps which made everyone roll on the floor.

Arnav was an attractive man. Much attractive than NK therefore within no time girls started to gather around him so that he could dance with them. NK was just smiling looking at him but then he saw someone and he thought that he had seen that person somewhere.

He excused himself and started to walk towards that person. Arnav saw him leaving and turned towards the direction he was heading to and then he saw her. Was it really her or was it just an illusion?

Khushi was feeling quite uncomfortable. She did not drink nor did she dance so what was she doing here? She never went to parties so how did she accept this invitation today? She started to leave when she heard someone calling her.

CHAPTER 2 GHODI LE KE AAYE LE JAYE

Khushi was feeling quite uncomfortable. She did not drink nor did she dance so what was she doing here? She never went to parties so how did she accept this invitation today? She started to leave when she heard someone calling her. She ignored the voice as she thought that an employee of hers was calling her and if she stopped then she would definitely be trapped therefore she just ran away.

Monday, 10 a.m. A.R. FASHIONS headquarter

Khushi: Hey hi! I am Khushi, I have a meeting with your CEO.

Receptionist: Yes ma'am he is waiting for you please have a seat and let me just inform him. (Khushi just smiled at her and turned to sit on the chairs in the lobby when the receptionist called her.) Ma'am he is in his cabin on the first floor. He is waiting for you. 2^nd room to the right and here please wear this badge as it indicates that you are a visitor. Thank you. Have a good day.

Khushi: Thanks.

Khushi turned around and inhaled the ambience of the place. The building was HUGE and was made of exquisite marble and glass. The lobby itself was huge and her office seemed to be minuscule as compared to this place. She smiled and thought that it would be great if she could work with A.R. FASHIONS. She strolled towards the elevator and stepped out when it said 1^st floor. She searched for the said room and found it. It had a name inscribed at the door:

Arnav Singh Raizada

Chief executive officer

This name… sounded familiar. Khushi frowned but then smiled thinking that she has actually lost it. She knocked twice.

Arnav: Come in!

Khushi swiftly opened the door and flashed a smile towards Arnav.

Khushi: Hey! Arnav was working on some files when he heard her. He looked up and saw her. He was shocked. He stood up from his chair.

Arnav: Hi! He smiled his famous crooked smile.

Khushi: Hi I am Khushi… Khushi Kumari Gupta… I am the… I am from JUST DAZZLE! She held out her hand for him to shake. What the hell had happened to her. Why was she stuttering? Was it because he was such a huge tycoon or was it because he was astronomically HOT! Arnav took her hand and shook it and his smiled increased. He left her hand and came towards her. GOSH why was he coming towards her please please please stay away. He came extremely near. So near that Khushi could count his eyelashes. Khushi's eyes popped out when he did something surprising. NO SHOCKING. No bewildering. He caught her in a bear hug! The hold was so tight that Khushi thought that she couldn't breathe for a second. He left her and cupped her face with his hands.

Arnav: 15 years!

Khushi: WHAT?? Excuse me I think there is a mistake I should leave now. She started towards the door when…

Arnav: teri ma ki… ruk…

Khushi was stunned. She turned towards him with her mouth open and saw him leaning on his table with a casual smile playing on his lips.

Khushi: WHA… (she couldn't complete her sentence when a realization hit her. She now realized that why did she find the name Arnav Singh Raizada so recognizable) Arny? (He just spread out his hand as if indicating that it was quite obvious.) Wow!

She smiled. Suddenly someone barged in the room.

NK: Arnav woh HITHOCKS ka tender…

Khushi: Woah!

Arnav: pehchaan kaun!

The deal was totally forgotten as the three friends met again after 15 years. However, Arnav sealed the contract and JUST DAZZLE was to organize the next fashion show of A.R. FASHIONS that showcased their fall collection.

Wednesday, 6.30 p.m. traffic signal

It was snowing heavily therefore Arnav had to leave his office before a blizzard started. His car stopped at a traffic signal when he turned right and saw Khushi sitting in the car next to his. He thought of following her just to know where she lived and thought of giving her a surprise. As the signal showed the green light he turned his car to follow Khushi's. Her car stopped outside a place called SAB EK HAIN orphanage. He saw her going inside the orphanage. He thought of waiting for 5 minutes before going inside. When he went inside he heard a sweet voice singing a song.

Khushi was sitting in the middle with a guitar in her hand, a smile playing on her face. There were a bunch of girls surrounding her and they all had smiles plastered on their faces as if they were totally enjoying the moment.

Khushi was singing this song but her mind was somewhere else. She was thinking that no one deserved heartbreak because it is never anyone's fault. It was not her fault that she had to face… no she should not think about that day.

She left her guitar on the floor and stood up. Watching her other girls stood up as well. She twirled around and started to dance. Arnav was just watching her and was mesmerized. She was GRACEFUL! HELL GRACEFUL!

The song stopped playing and a girl from the crowd got up and hugged Khushi.

Girl: Aap jaldi se shadi kar lo… main iss hi gaane per dance karungi

Khushi: Lekin Pari main to kabhi shadi hi nahin karungi…

Girl: Arey who dekho wahan kaun khada hai… she pointed towards the door.
