Mohe Piya Milan Ki Aas
Anandi was very happy that her trust was not broken by Jagya. She was happy because her trust was which Shiv had trusted upon. After Jagya returned to the badi haveli Anandi had a heartfelt conversation with Dsa. She had returned the family heirloom to her. Dsa had given her after Gauri and Jagya had caused a ruckus leading to badi jiji's ill-health. It was a symbol of Dsa's struggle as a widow and a single mother of two. It belonged to her late husband from whom she drew her strength. It was given to Anandi by Dsa so that she could draw strength from it and lead a life of a single woman. Anandi had kept it very safely until now. She thought it was time to return the heirloom to the rightful person. She had told Dsa that she could not keep it any longer with her because Jagya would soon be the man who deserved to put it around his neck. Anandi did not need it for strength and inspiration any more. She was in love with Shiv. She was no longer alone. He was her strength and her inspiration. Dsa took it from her because she knew that the first reason was yet to become true but as far as Anandi was concerned she did not need it anymore. Her ladesar Shiv was the only one her chidakly needed. She told Anandi to go home as she had been there the whole day. She needed to give time to her saasre waala's and not come over to her maayka over every little thing. Anandi quickly hugged her and made a dash for the dining area. Everyone is seated at the dining table. She almost bumped into Sumitra.
Sumitra: "Kya kar rahi hai lado abhi lag jaati tujhe.Par mein chakke lage hain kya? Itni utaavli kyun ho rahi hai?"
Anandi: "Ma, Bapusa, Taiji, Tauji main ghar ja rahi hoon. Mujhe bahut der ho gayi hai. Shiv office se aa gaye honge mera intezaar kar rahe honge."
Bhairon: "Anandi beta chal main tujhe ghar chod deta hoon."
Anandi: "Nahi bapusa koi zaroorat nahi hai. Driver kaka mujhe chod denge."
Dsa: "Ri chorri ab yahi hai tu. Ghar na gayi. Shib aa gayo hogo thaari raah dekhto hogo. Jaa jaldi ghar."
Anandi: "Dsa bas ja hi rahi hoon."
Anandi gives everyone quick hugs and says good bye to Jagya and Ganga. She looked at Dsa as if to tell her something. Anandi heads for her home. On her way to her home she decides to stop at the temple. In the haveli at the dining table Dsa scold Jagya.
Dsa: "Jagdees sun chora jo tune kiyo wo accho kiyo. Uss Gauri se saari baat khatam kar aayo. Main jaanoo hunn jo tu humein batata toh shayad hum tujhe wahaan na jaane dete. Iss liye tu Anandi aur Shib ke ghar gayo unhe batane. Por chhora tujhe bhi toh samajhna chaiye tho ki ab Anandi ka byaah ho gayo hai. Aise aadhi raat ko unke ghar jaano theek na laage. Beend beenddi apas mein poore din ke baad mile hove baat cheet karte hove aur tu wahaan tapak pada. Mahro Shib bahut accho hai bura na mane is baat ko par humein hi toh samajhna chahiye na. Aage se iss baat ka dhyaan rakhjo sab. Ab Anandi ko choti choti baton par pareshaan karno theek na hai. Use apne saasre mein rumne do."
Jagya felt like a thousand daggers piercing through his heart. He felt that he was the most foolish person on planet earth that he had let Anandi go. He also realized that there was no use crying over spilt milk. He decided to start with a clean slate. He made a promise to himself that he would not think about the times he had with Anandi. Though they were his memories she was now with someone else. She was someone else's wife. It was wrong to think about her in any way. The family had dinner. After that Ganga and Sumitra have their dinner.
Anandi had made a quick stop at the temple. "Devima mujhe aashirwaad dijiye ki main Shiv se apne mann ki baat keh sakoon. Unhe bata sakoon ki main unse poore mann se pyar karne lagi hoon. Unhe apna sab kuch maan chuki hoon. Ab mujhe kuch nahi rok raha. Main unki ho jaana chahti hoon. Unke saath aage badhna chahti hoon. Main humaare Milan ki aas mein aaj unke paas jaa rahi hoon. Sirf wo hi nahi ab main bhi unhe poori tarah se janna chahti hoon." She takes the Prasad and flowers from the temple. She heads for her home. In the jeep she was beaming with joy. She asked the driver to speed up. She thought 'To hell with the traffic rules. I want to reach home as fast as I can.'
In the CH.
Saachi and CM were waiting for Anandi to return. Shiv came back from the office. He seemed to be in a hurry.
Shiv: CM Anandi kahaan hai mujhe bahut zaroori baat karni hain unse.
Saachi: Bhaiyya Anandi bhabhi aur kahaan hongi. Wo apne maayke mein hai. She hasn't returned nor has she bothered to call.
CM: Saachi bas beta. Koi baat hogi. Shiv tu phone kar de use.
Shiv: CM kabse phone kar raha hoon par wo phone uthaye tab na. Mujhe abhi ke abhi Jaipur ke liye nikalna hai. CM please kya aap do din ke liye mere kapde pack kar dengi. Tab tak main apni files aur saare official papers rakh leta hoon.
Shiv tries calling Anandi but she rejects his calls. He wanted to speak with her before leaving. He could not go without wishing her good bye. He was desperate to speak with her even if was on the phone. On the other hand Anandi was determined to speak with him face to face. The first words would be 'I Love You Shiv.' She did not want to say or hear anything before that. Shiv's bags were packed and his official papers were ready. He could not wait any longer. He had to reach Jaipur early in the morning because he had a breakfast meeting with the C M.
Shiv: CM main jaakar aata hoon. Mujhe der ho rahi hai. Anandi se keh dijiyega ki main unhe Jaipur pahuchkar phone kar doonga. I will explain it all. Main ab apna phone switch off kar doonga kyunki driving karte waqt main baat nahi kar sakta. Kal subah bhi mera phone shyad band mile. She may try to call me unhe please yeh baat bata dijiyega ki main apna phone band rah raha hoon agar phone nahi mila toh shayad unhe fikar hogi.
Saachi: Don't worry bhaiyya bhabhi ke paas aur bhi cheezen hain aapki fikar karne ke alawa.
Shiv: Saachi. Mere jaane ke baad behave properly and please apne hardcore opinions and comments se Anandi ko baksh dena. CM please take care.
Shiv leaves for the driveway. As he settles into his car Anandi arrives. She gets off the jeep but Sees Shiv driving away. She did not know where he was going. She thought that he was headed for the haveli to pick her up. She tried to call him and ask him to come back home. She got the response that the phone was switched off. She thought he would return in some time. She entered the CH.
CM: Anandi beta tumhaara phone kyun nahi utha rahi. Shiv kabse phone kar raha tha. Wo abhi abhi nikala hai.
Anandi: CM wo mujhe na shiv se kuch baat karni thi. Main phone par nahi karna chahti thi. So maine unka phone nahi uthaya. Hmm maine dekha unhe jaate. Haveli gaye hain na mujhe lene aa jaayenge thodi der mein.
Saachi: Wow bhabhi aap mere bhaiyya ko apni ishaaron par dance karwaana chahti hain. Jab aapko unse baat karni ho you will call him up. Aaj bhaiyya ko aapse baat karni thi but you rejected his calls. For your kind information bhabhi bhaiyya aapki Dadiji ke ghar nahi gaye. He has gone to Jaipur. Wo jaane se pehle aapko bye kehna chahte the but you were playing games with him. Ab aapko jo unse kehna hai you will be able to tell him after two days. Serves you right. Ab aap kabhi bhi mere Shiv bhaiyya ko for granted nahi lengi.
CM: Saachi bahut ho gaya apne room mein jaao. Khana lagte hi main tumhe bulati hoon.
Anandi was completely shattered that Shiv would not be with her for two days. She fell on her knees while sobbing.
CM: Anandi beta ro mat. Dekho Shiv ne kaha hai ki wo Jaipur pahuchkar tumhe phone kare. Nahi beta usne phone switch off kiya hai. Kal subah bhi shayad off rakhe. C M ke saath meeting hai uski. Chalo beta ab aassoon pocho aur haan Saachi ki baat ko mann par mat lo. Main jaanti hoon ki har baar sab kehte hain ki wo bacchi hai par beta uski baat mein koi tathya hi nahi hai. Shiv jaldi se aa jaayega tumhaare paas. Phir jee bharke use baat karna. I Love You bhi keh dena Ok. Ab jaao fresh ho jaao hum sab saath mein dinner karte hain. Shiv ko saath mein dabba pack karke de diya hai. Ab khush.
Anandi goes to her room thinking what Saachi said to her. Saachi's words may be harsh but somewhere she was right. Anandi crashes on the bed and begins to sob. Her head was buried on Shiv's side of the bed. She looked up and saw their wedding pic. She takes it in her hands and cries even more.
Anandi: Shiv I am sorry. Please mujhe maaf kar dijiye. Mujhe pata hai aap mujhse naraaz hain. Main bhi na kabhi kabhi bilkul bachkaani harkaten karti hoon. Agar mujhe pata hota ki aap mujhse door jaa rahe hain toh main aapka phone zaroor uthati. Utna hi nahi main kuch bhi karke aapke jaane se pehle ghar aa jaati. Shiv please jaldi se mere paas aa jaaiye. Main ppake bina nahi jee sakti. I Love You.
CM comes to call her for dinner. She refuses to eat.
CM: Anandi beta mujhe toh laga tha ki ab humaare beech sab theek hai. Tum chahti ho ki Shiv aakar mujhe daante ki main uski Anandi ka khayaal nahi rakha. Chalo thoda sa kha lo warna main papaji, bhaiyya, didi aur haan Shiv ko tumhaari shikayat kar doongi.
Anandi had half a chapatti and two spoons of sabzi for dinner. Saachi also saw that she was really sad that Shiv was not there and she really regretted her actions. She did not say anything. She tries to cheer her up. She also felt bad that she should not have spoken so harshly to her.
Saachi: CM aaj hum teeno Shekhar woman milkar movie dekhte hain. Chick flick. What say bhabhi?
Anandi nods in a yes. They decide to watch a movie. Saachi's choice was always wrong at the wrong moment. She had put the DVD of a romantic movie where the hero heroine had to separate momentarily due to the hero's work commitments. Anandi began to cry and ran to her room. Saachi smacked herself. It was almost 11:00pm. After their wedding night Anandi had not spent a single night away from Shiv. She could not sleep. She tossed and turned for almost two hours. She cast aside her comforter and covered herself with Shiv's. She put Shiv's pillow by her on his side. She still could not sleep. Then she put Shiv's hoodie on the pillow. OK now she had a faceless replacement of Shiv. She got a pic of him and put it in the place of the head. Some sort of Shiv's substitute was with her. She hugged the Shiv roopi pillow and went to sleep.
CM and Saachi were really worried for her. It was 10:00 am and the sleeping beauty was still asleep. The Singh clan had come to meet them.
Dsa: Wo Meenaxiji jo Jagya ne kiyo uss kaaran se main Shiv aur Anandi se bahut naraaj hui thi. Un dono se mafi maanga chahoo hoon. Toh isliye humne socha ki aapke ghar aa jaave.
Bhairon: Haan samdhansa wo un dono ki koi galti nahi thi aur humne unhe daant diya. Shiv hai ya office gaya hai aur Anandi bhi nahi dikh rahi. Bahar gayi hai kya?
CM: Majisa wo Shiv toh kal raat ko hi kisi kaam se Jaipur gaya hai aur Anandi so rahi hai.
Dsa: Kai kaho ho aap chorri ab tak sove hai. Je chori toh maayke waalo ki naak kata ke hi rehvegi.
Sumitra: Samdhansa uski tabiyat toh theek hai na warna Anandi toh roz 5:00 am ko uth jaati hai.
Saachi: Aunty bhabhi ki tabiyat bilkul theek hai. Humaare yahaan bhabhi sabse aakhir mein hi uthti hain. Waise bhi unhe kya kaam hai. Anyways CM ko koi problem nahi hai So I don't think ki aapko bhi hona chahiye ki bhabhi apne ghar par kitne baje uthti hain.
CM: Saachi bas haan. Kal raat kitni der se soyi hogi kaun jaane. Jaao tum Anandi ko jagao aur usse kaho ki sab aaye hain. I think Shiv ka phone aayega 11:00 am tak.
Ganga: Saachiji main bhi chaloon thaare saath.
Saachi and Ganga go to wake up Anandi. They see the way she was sleeping in. They blush and come back to the living area.
Saachi: CM bhabhi toh deep sleep main hain. I don't think we should wake her up. I didn't know ki bhaiyya pillow jitney soft hain.
She tells everyone the way Anandi had dozed off. They all find it very cute. The Singh's leave after apologizing once more. Anandi wakes up at around 10:30 am. OMG!! She had over slept. She too had had the habit of waking up to Shiv's alarm. She quickly gets dressed and comes and apologizes to Meenu. She starts to prepare for lunch. Meenu did not stop her because it was a way to keep her busy. She had stopped crying and that was a relief. She began to prepare the food. She miscalculated and made lunch for Shiv too. She feels sad again. She is lost in her thoughts and the sabzi burns.
CM: Anandi beta dhyaan kahaan hai tumhaara dekho sabzi jal rahi hai. Tumhaari tabiyat mujhe theek nahi lag rahi tum jaakar rest karo main ye sab dekh loongi.
Anandi tries to refuse but she lost the argument to CM. She goes to her room and rests. She did not come out for lunch so CM went to check on her. She saw Anandi sleeping. Her face was pale. She touched her forehead. Her forehead was burning. Anandi had a fever. She took the thermometer and checked the temperature. She had 102 degrees temperature. She called Lal Singh. He came and gave her some medications and an injection. She was mumbling in fever. She wanted Shiv. She kept on taking his name. Cm took care of Anandi. Saachi too sat by Anandi the whole time and took care of her. She felt very bad for Anandi. They tried to call Shiv but his phone was not reachable. His work was done in one go and he had left for home. He wanted to surprise Anandi by coming back by next morning instead of next evening.
He informed CM about him coming early. She could not bring herself to tell him about Anandi's fever as he was driving. She did not want him to drive rashly in order to reach home early. The Singh's came to see her. She kept on mumbling Shiv's name. Everyone is worried on seeing her in this condition. Jagya too was shocked to see her pine for Shiv. She had to love him very deeply. The Singh's left on Meenu's request and she promised to keep them updated about Anandi. Anandi was crying in her sleep. She continued to mumble about Shiv. It was almost dinner time. Meenu woke her up and fed her some khichdi. Which she ate only because she was given Shiv's swear and also because she would have to eat to take her medication. She did not want to further hurt Shiv by not taking care of herself. That night too she slept in the same way. Her fever had subsided because of the injection and the care. She asked CM and Saachi to take rest. They left her side at around three in the morning.
Shiv came home at around 5:00am. He did not want to disturb anyone. He opened the door with his key. He tiptoed into his room. The sight he saw brought happy tears to his eyes. He freshened up and was at his study table doing some work. He heard a sniffle. He turned around and saw a tear trickle down Anandi's cheek. He came near her and saw that she was crying in her sleep. He wiped her tears as gently as possible for him so as to avoid waking her up. She opened her eyes and he smiled at her. She smiled back. She thought that she was hallucinating. "Shiv I am sorry mujhe maaf kar dijiye. Mujhe pata hai aap mujhse naraaz hai na? Maine aapka phone nahi uthaya iss liye. Par Shiv mujhe aapse baat karni thi aamne saamne. Mujhe aapse kehna tha ki I love you Shiv main aapse bahut bahut pyaar karne lagi hoon. Shiv jaldi se mere paas aa jaaiye na. Main aapse ye sab khena chahti hoon. Main humaare beech ka har faasla mita dena chahti hoon. Aap aayenge na jaldi se apni Anandi ke paas. Boliye na aayenge na. Wada kijiye."
She put her hand put and he placed his in hers. "Shiv Shiv aap aap sach mein mere paas hain? Aap mere paas aa gaye? Aap mujhse naraaz toh nahi hai na?" "Nahi Anandi main aapse kabhi naraaz ho sakta hoon kya? Par haan mujhe aapse ek shikayat hai ki aapne mere peeche se khud ka khayaal nahi rakha. Ab main aapko kabhi aise akele chodkar nahi jaaoonga. Jahaan jaaoonga aapko lekar jaaoonga. Mujhe aap par bilkul bharosa nahi hai. Chaliye ab jaldi se wo kahiye jo aapne kaha jab aapko laga ki main sach nahi kalpana hoon." "I Love you Shiv." Anandi said shyly and then hugged Shiv. "I love you too Anandi." He too hugged her back. They both had tears in their eyes. Happy tears. He wore the hoodie and came and lied down next to her. She rested on his chest and began to drift off to sleep. Shiv turned off the alarm in his wrist watch. She kept on saying Shiv I Love You till she drifted off.
Anandi was well by that afternoon. Her marz was her dava. She had stayed one day without Shiv and that was enough torture for her to last her a life time. She spent the rest of the day in the hopes of becoming one with Shiv at night. Mohe piya milan ki aas…….
