I have a strong feeling that Akash is going to play a negative role - there are several reasons - first of all he is going to be very angry with SP for calling his mother names etc insulting her, then when he actually finds out that he is SP's son and his denial and swapping of DNA reports - he is likely to go ballistic and cause lot of problems, then he is also going to turn on Radha for depriving him of his birthright - so it looks like we are going to see lot of interesting episodes with lot of drama.

For me Papa Scindia is the one who is playing a negative role. Aakash is just acting in self defence!

I dont think Akash will become negative but will be broken when he faces the truth. He will be angry towards Radha - as he trusts her blindly and may hate SP more for putting him and Radha in such a situation. He may be drawn towards Gayathri for sure but will chose to live with Radha.
