@smriti, that was hilarious and right on the money. Good observation.

Actually this is the voice of experience...practice it all the time😉

Ds is not the only grand mother who pampers. Every grand mother tends to do it. That is what grand mothers are. They might ave been totally strict as mothers because they realize it is their responsibility to raise the children right. With GM emotion takes over. The problem was with Bairon and Sumi for letting go their control over their son. They should have been more assertive s parents. Bairon was weak when it came to Ds and Sumi had no say as a bindini other than giving birth. This is a combination of a rural set up with a controlling dictator DS. If Ds had her husband, as a grand father he would have been more realistic and kept DS under control. Ds had no body to control her even when she was committing blunders. Jagia and Sumi are is paying for it today.

i still do not understand the way DS is blaming anandi over the whole issue...the singhs and jagya HAVE to stop using her as a crutch and a handy scapegoat...it gets annoying after a while..

Ok..on a serious note, here i wasn't blaming DS for J falling in love with G. I agree with u on this. I was talking about her worry of J being trapped. He is a grown up man. He shuld be able to do things sensibly. He shouldn't have acted impulsively soon after listening to Ganga's advice. He could think, wait till the next day...convince his family in a matured way and leave. But no...he acts like a child .First,he doesn't think on his own( Ganga has to advice him about his life!)...then, after he takes a decision, he can't act on his own...he runs to A for whatever reasons.I think this kind of personality is the result of DS's pampering. She always protected him...and made A be his next protector. She covered up and backed him when he did mistakes. She never taught him how to fish instead gave him fish. This made him weak. So she fears the most even today that any tom dick or harry could trap her grandson for his weak personality.

😳 I love DS yes !
And yes - she overprotected Jagya md never let him GROW up, and he is too impulsive and rash and reckless. I guess it is bcoz she too seesm to be pretty much the same kind. She sees herself in him and maybe thats why understands him best and watches and worries for him.
Honestly - she really should not pamper him - he is a grown man and very immature still. And this habit of getting a thought in your head and running away with it w/o thinking of any accepted norms like - informing/disussing/sharing plans - is highly undesirable.

Hope he gets a big earful form DS this time once he gets back form Bombay without getting his urgent apology to his illegal, super-selfish so called "wife".
