sorry, can't call it bollywood, it's too original a thing to have even a hint of me too in its naam. even ripping off good english movies and music around the world was done with such elan, such uniqueness, 😆. but really, the whole body of work, which once was considered too "low," too mass, no classical element in it, nothing valuable really, gosh how much of me it makes.

the cultural , the richness of language of it is now become fashion to discuss, to chat about, to study in colleges... but not in the days when these mad dreamers of the indian film industry were devising, daring, doing the craziest of things:
to create a whole new language of communication, one that would touch and thrill every part of our being. among them some fine poets, singers, dancers, actors, even a group of highly social minded, left leaning people of fascinating talent (kaifi azmi, sahir ludhianvi, majrooh sultanpuri, munshi premchand to name a few).

GOLDEN ERA NOT LIKE TODAY.AGREED WITH YOU HINDI FILMS.THE DAY BOLLYWOOD CAME IN EVERYTHING WENT OUT THE DOOR.These names are legend Indi and those movies and their songs shake you off still todayKya baat hain un dinno ki.I am not that old but love things in certain perspective and certain ways.I don't care if anyone calls me boodhi rooh but that's what it is.Pure Facts.

india as we know her was just being born those days, and they had to think of imagery that wouldn't be stumped by the language barrier... everyone did not speak hindi, the newly chosen national language, but ask older people from any part of the country if they saw the old hindi films, rarely will you get a "what the" from a wizened face. i remember one of my great aunts, a very basic hindi speaker, being into shammi kapoor, oh he was hot hot, and going all smiley at the mention of the man. (aww, sweet shezdi, too many memories with her.)
Sorry Indi I never liked Shami. No offence but agreed with as my parents say the same things

hindi films found a language perhaps that went beyond the spoken word. its imagery, allusions, little devices, and sign language, came of delving into emotions and universal human things and finding meaningful translations understood by all.

and somewhere along the way, we grew to understand, that running around trees singing songs is a feeling, you don't have to do it in real life. and watching a gorgeous "hero" do it, didn't make you laugh your guts out. (shashi kapoor singing "khilte hain gul yahan," has me palpitating in no time even now ha ha). and many other such things. often one didn't fathom the higher, finer elements of urdu in many of the songs, but it never mattered, they conveyed richness... of feelings, thoughts, the moment, everything.
Isn't that ironic these things still awake desires
somewhere along the way we "knew" to hear rabba vey when someone's thought, being, or even name came near was not at all loony (well it was, but what the, that's exactly what happens when you're in lau, isn't it).

i feel lucky that the man who created rabba vey, raju singh, learned with one of the masters of the hindi film music world, R d burman. he has the same innovative, unafraid, experimental streak in his work. no matter how many time i hear it, i am entranced. just like you know who.
One of my fav his music awakes all the emotions in you.You cry, laugh, pain etc just love love love his contributions.Indi you are reminding me my days when me and my radio along with my books .Awww

a cut still fresh in the heart, and a few pearls still scattering in a mind brought about a torrent of words in in an unlikely place, and an unfamiliar reticence in another. one said things out loud in her way, but didn't say the real thing at all. the other just spoke them in his mind as was his wont.

"yeh dard toh kissi aur ka diya hua hai... aur waise bhi, uss chot ka kya jo dikhai nahin deti..." this pain is given by someone else, and what about the hurt that no one can see?
what did khushi mean? what hurt? had he cut her somewhere deeper than the eye can see, where only the heart can feel? but how, why? she never spoke of it. why khushi, why, you who speaks so much why aren't you saying anything today... about that "chot"? i feel like asking her the way he'd asked that day on the bridge.
NIce connection
of course, her final conclusion: everything is that man's fault, i've said what i had to... all our miseries are because of him.,.. that rakshas.
"yeh sab uss arnav singh raizada ke vajah se ho raha hai... bol diya toh bol diya yeh sab uss rakshas ki galati hai."

his soliloquy was touching. "arnav singh raizada is not so weak that he cannot get rid of the thoughts of one girl from his head... she's draped like a shadow over my mind... again and again her thoughts... her face only... as though she's challenging me... no, i'm not one to accept defeat... emotions, feelings, there's no place in my life for such things...and nor will i ever let there be any place for them... you are part of my yesterday which is past... and now... khushi kumari gupta is nothing more to me than just a name."
Is it?This name is written everywhere on him ...
"itna kamzor nahin hai arnav singh raizada ki ek ladki ke khayal ko apne dimaag se na nikal sake... ek saye ki tarah chha gayo hai mere dimaag mein... baar baar ussi ka khayal... ussika chehra... jaise mujhe challenge kar rahi ho... nahi main haar manne walo mein se nahin hoon... emotions, ahsaas in sabki meri zindagi mein koi jagah nahi hai... aur na main kabhi banne doonga... tum mere uss kal ka hissa ho jo beet chuka hai... aur ab... khushi kumari gupta ek naam se zyada mere liye kuch nahin hai."

wow, the silent one really talks, while the talker keeps mum. and what's this chot, this challenge? aren't they both sensing more than what was the intention. or maybe they're not? he did mean to teach her a lesson again and again, for getting under his skin... and what was that "hum ja rahe hain hamesha ke liye," followed by a long searching look, if not a challenge to the one who is mattering to her when someone of his ilk really shouldn't. mustn't.
Exactly thats what he is going to do now
oh fatntastic love writing. and acting.

i felt really bad for nani today. again the result of good writing and jayshree t's beautiful becoming of naniji. she, who i've seen, dancing the typical hindi movie cabaret in many a film, who'd have thought there was such a sensitive actor in her. in itself, to get all tizzied over a bathing ritual and stalking off after roundly ticking off a guest in the house can seem pretty bizarre. but naniji managed to communicate her true feelings, her deep hurt really well. and something so elegant, old time, gracious, about her language, always measured, cultured and well chosen,

Jayshree is awesome in these scenes
"sachchai aur shraddha chehre par nahi, man ma howat hai ms kassyap, man ma." truth and devotion are not worn on the face, they are in the "man" mind/heart, ms kassyap.

if this is how you've been raised, and these are you ways, then forgive me, not only am i upset, i am ashamed too (as a woman, who holds the place and duties of a woman pretty high). "toh maaf kijiye, hum naraaz hi nahi, sharminda bhi hai..." of course, naraaz and sharminda have a sense difficult to translate. Difficult to understand by La

poor naniji, who'd been through much and done all her duties. to find herself in this situation at this age, gah must be tough tough tough. yet she too was trying to deal with it, placing conditions but not threatening terrible things. all for the love of her grandson, chip off the old block he.

khushi was all khushi, rushing from shop to shop trying to find business. oh, madam had also worked out a slogan... a copywriter in there somewhere? poor payal, always sweet, supportive, trusting, of her dear younger one. the little girl who came home all torn, tattered, and sweetest ever at the tender age of 8 and became the older girl's principal fan, her toy even maybe, finally part of her heart. i can feel payal's absolute doting on younger sis. "hum theek toh kar rahein hain na?" she'sd asked the mercurial one in their first scene... never bossy, always believing in this crazy girl. payal was wise beyond her years and brave too.
Payal is a true older sister always there for her
one big grouse against creatives. did the loveliest shots of khushi have to come as a result of the obsession of aaargh shyam? 😡😡😡 😡that loving rove over her features on tender music, with the married lustful cretin looking on. why, creatives, why? but oh she looked fab, the camera seemed to be making love.😡 The more I see him the more I hate him

love is the last thing someone wants to think of, and busy he gets planning di's anniversary bash replete with real lucknow sweets...

(oh loads of hindi fillum ishtyle symbolism in those three words; she that lucknow delicacy, he the diabeic that just can't have enough of her, hmmm).

but run away from love he can't... his own live in girl friend makes him remember. poor man. and by the time he's done with this:

and some more thoughts of strings breaking, pearls scattering, bikhar gaya, a girl looking at him with eyes brimming with tears and accusation, he is just drained.I FELT FOR HIM SO BADLY BROUGHT TEARS.

mamaji on an aside, tells akash the wisest of things: don't marry, and if you must, make sure, it's not a lub marraigewa. mamiji seeks food in her worry and frustration, shyam continues with his lascivious pursuits, anjali looks at him indulgently, la is happy that at long last something that she can deal with is about to happen... no, not another puja... a party. bet la will have no problems about bathing in perfumed vapours and more for that. her rituals are for her places of prayer, i don't blame the girl.

and before i leave to dress up for the big do, just one thing, have you ever seen anyone turn around and walk toward camera quite so sexily? rabba vey... AGREED

Indi what a ride you put me on today.Lovely as usual. My comments are in red

Indi, I can't say I have experience in viewing Hindi films until late but Marigold is the movie that brought me to Star Plus and IPK. I now watch some of the modern films but I will have to go back and watch some older films on line. I just love the innocence of love and the respect for man, woman and their bodies in these films. In the USA almost all films have someone with their clothes off and they are showing intimate love scenes that sometimes resemble po*n. I was so tired of that. I wanted my respect back, my morals back and I chose to watch Hindi films/ serials. I just love the feeling and my imagination can now be enticed!

Hey ARSHI
Your take on sweets was really sweet ! Where do get such symbolisms from?! I am amazed. While watching the eps I was wondering if the count of 35 boxes means anything and you gve me the answer! Did the CVs think so deep? You, among others on our thread should have been part of the IPK CVs! Why do you think they made Arnav diabetic? CYNTHIA can ans that too since she owns a mithai shop! I am reminded of INDI's comment in an earlier eps, much appreciated by my arch rival BD before I had a chance to😭 which ran like this, "a girl who was an expert maker of sweets and a diabetic who'd be totally bowled over by her sweetness"!
By the way, ARSHI, thanx for calling me" a doll". That I am😳

Hi Anita,

Just read ur analysis. 😆 bold and red bold are ur thoughts. red bold are the ones I couldn't stop laughing 😆

episode 52 & 53

loved khushi's pos outlook of life

episode 53
love khushi and bua ji's relationship they are always on each other's cases but they cannot be apart for long ... ya, they have thier own set of nok jhoks.. awesome couple :)

i swear anything flying fabric makes him think of khushi 🤣
Then lavanya came from behind and wrapped her hands around his waist (that should be me) 😳 -- > hello honey, how much ever we wish that can be only done by dear sankadevi ! he he he 😆

episode 54
then nani and arnav had a stare off...i think nani won the stare off. 🤣

episode 55
.honestly no one likes a liar...i feel like she is not trying hard enough to impress nani

Yes I do agree no one likes a liar but I also feel no one should impose ones thoughts on others. La is what she is.. forcing her to be someone else will not do any good.. it will eventually lead to frustation and unhappiness on both sides. Having said that, it is not right to not respect the honour of the house you are currently in.

episode 56
lot of hide and seek from shyam's,khushi's part from now...

love your witty lines in between the analysis. 😃

Episode 57 Maha

Hide and Seek/ Peek 'a-Boo

He is always on the phone, making demands, organizing, ordering and in contol until the door opens; a gust of wind blows, the keys of the piano playing softly Rabba Ve and she walks in the door. His phone slowly leaves his ear. She is praying to the Goddess for protection and she hopes the Laad Govenor is not at home. "No, she is not here. I don't want to think about it." He says and continues with a phone call. The girls continue on their entrance to the Raizada home and are heading to the kitchen. Kushi is hesitant, looking around and hoping not to see that Rakshas! She must make sure he won't find her she will have to hide out in the kitchen! She is heading that way. He is on the move, heading towards her. This next scene was amazing with the ambience of the preparation for the party, scarves on pillars and poles, music playing softly in the background Rabba Ve, and both of them on the move walking towards each other but DM has plans for them. They are not to meet just yet and by her grace they miss each other because workers walk in between them carrying the scarves. The thin fabric just barely separates them, close enough yet so far away. Hide and seek, peek a boo, just loved how the creators did this scene! Beautifully directed scene and loved your cognitive description of the scene.

She hears him talking with a worker, " I don't like people who make mistakes'", she sees him and she runs away so he doesn't see her but he hears her payal. He looks. Hide and Seek, you know she's here but can you find her? She runs in to the kitchen and Payal tells her what to do. Uncle Rahim is there and says to place the gulaab on a large platter. Just then Naniji calls him to come to the temple. He turns to Kushi and says go to the store room and get the platters. DM has a funny way to have these star crossed lovers meet. Payal sees how uncomfortable Kushi is and says she will go, but no our heroine takes a deep breath and says she will go because LG is not here. DM was intentionally playing games with this star crossed lovers. She already knew their fate, but wanted to test them.

Anjali and Shyam are in gold looking quite nice. She tells him he looks handsome and asks who gave him the suit. He tells her of which he has many. She gets upset.

Kushi is looking for the store room as she is walking she is talking to her self, "calm down, Kushi, he isn't here. Don't worry."

Shyam realizing his mistake says to Anjali, that she is his favorite admirer. She answers himthat she is lucky to have him. He replies that he is the lucky one, Rani Shaiba.

Kushi is walking right pass their room. This is a great scene she standing in front of their door and both Anjali and Shyam holding hands in the background. The phone rings and Anjali picks it up and is told the desserts are there. Kushi is still looking and says to herself I think this is the way. She walks forward and behind her we see Anjali coming out of her room heading to the kitchen missing each other. Another hide and Seek, Peek-a-Boo moment.

Kushi is till talking with herself and is saying how can anyone find anything in this house it is so enormous. She stops, she hears ASR's voice. He is walking her way. She prays DM what to do? She runs into a room, walking in backwards to Shyam's room who is walking into the bathroom, playing hide and seek again. She doesn't see him. Brilliantly done creative team! Well played. ASR walks by, stops in front of the room sensing her perhaps'Rabba Ve. The phone rings, he gets distracted, probably Aman interrupting and walks off. She steps out of the doorway and so does Shyam from the bathroom with a towel drying his face. He looks up but she is gone but does he sense that someone was there? We just had another came of Hide and Seek/ Peek-a-Boo.

She hears him don't you see where you are going? She stops turns he is scolding a servant who got his shirt dirty. "Devi Maiya why are you testing me?" Here he comes she has to go hide! She runs into his room. "Goddess where am I?" You are home my dear Kushi, you are home. "I would not come back to Delhi to run into him!" She looks out the door and he's coming. Where to hide? Where to hide? She runs behind his chaise, no not there. She jumps into his closet. Yes this is a good place to hide he won't find her there! Haha, DM has other plans in store. He walks in takes off his vest. Phone rings again. He goes to his closet to get another shirt, opens the door distracted by the phone, not looking into the closet he just reaches in to grab a shirt. Fumbling around with his shirts she assists him with one. He closes the door, walking away he realizes something. "I'll call you back", he turns staring at the closet, he rolls his eyes probably saying to himself 'I must be crazy' and walks away. She hits her head and squeals and does it again. He hears, turns around in disbelief and walks over to the closet and opens the door. "What the?" He is staring intently into the covered eyes of one Kushi Kumari Gupta! One of the epic scene of IPK. It was so cute how Khushi was covering her one eye and opened other with a stunned look!

This game oPeek-a-Boo! f Hide and Seek just became interesting!

Anjali and Nani are in the kitchen where the aroma of Lucknow sweets has filled the air! Anjali is surprise to see Payal who explains that the sisters have opened a sweet shop and won their contract. Anjali seems happy about the great news! Payal congratulates her on her anniversary. Anjali introduces Payal as Kushi's sister the girl from Lucknow and Nani tells Payal that she is always happy when she talks with Kushi and now that she met Payal she is very nice and she feels good. Nani seems very pleased with the sweets. Anjali asks Payal where is Kushi? Playing hide and seek and peek-a-boo with your brother, that's where! hahaha,

He is staring at her. She uncovers her eyes and looks into those intensely deep, chocolate brown eyes.Barun's eyes are mesmerizing,so deep and sexy! She has to get out of here and fast! Those eyes, those mesmerizing eyes. She jumps down from the closet and tries to walk away he grabs her arm'.Rabba Ve. She breaks his hold on her and runs for her life. Her dupatta flying reaching out for him, he tries to grasp it it's just out of his reach. He calls, "Kushi'Kushi!" beautiful scene indeed.

Nani is so enamored by all the sweets. It is nice to see her smiling instead of scowling like she has the past few days. Nani was always so enamored by Khushi.her experience eyes never do mistakes to pick the gem and genuine. Kushi has the platters and comes back to the kitchen with that all so familiar worried look on her face. Payal sees her and goes to her and asks why she is so late. Anjali says to Kushi that she is very happy that she personally prepared these sweets for her anniversary. She tells her that when they meet she feels good. Nani chimes in again that nice people prepare sweets that are very delicious! Payal nudges Kushi who is in another world and says Nani and Anjali are talking to her. She snaps out of her private thought world and says Namaste to both of them and Happy Anniversary to Anjali. Mami then comes in and does her Mami thing. She sees the girls and wants to know why they are here. Anjali tells her they have the sweet contract for the party. Nani and Anjali leave. "Hmpfff," Mami says. In comes Akash and he sees Kushi and then is mesmerized by his lady Payal. Kushi tells him they brought the sweets for the party. Mami doesn't like what she sees and rushes her son away. No peek-a-boo games for you!

ASR is pacing in his room remembering HER words that she is leaving to Lucknow forever! He saw the locked door! What the! Why is she HERE? Lavanya walks in, "How do I look?" He doesn't answer and she tells him so. How can he think of anything else now that Kushi is back? Lavanya walks over to him and is straightening his shirt when Anjali walks in on this very intimate moment. She is taken aback I believe. ASR sees her, throws the shirt and walks away from Lavanya, asking Di why Kushi is there in the house. He doesn't know but he knows she does. Anjali answers him, "Yes, YOU ordered sweets for the party and Kushi and her sister got the contract. YOU ought to know, YOU are the one who made the arrangements." He answers that he gave the order but if he knew that they were commissioned he would have canceled it. She tells him to leave his anger or he will be punched in the nose. The sweets are great! Akash comes in and tells everyone to come down the guests are arriving. Lavanya says to ASR that she is so excited and she hopes they all like her surprise! He just walks away; he probably wants to just hide than face his reality.

Anajli goes to her room to freshen up and tells Shyam to go down everyone is here. She proceeds to tell him about Kushi and the sweet contract and when she turns he is gone. He didn't even hear her. He is going to be playing hide and seek soon.

Everyone enters the party greeting their guests followed by Arnav with Lavanya on his arm. This really bothered me, I really felt uncomfortable with her hanging there it just wasn't right! Same here buddy, can't stand La beside him.😡Actually I can't stand any girl beside him rather than Khushi. I'm more possessive than Khushi. Kushi is trying topeek out from her hiding place to see what's happening. ASR welcomes everyone and introduces the happy couple. Anjali and Shyam come down the stairs. Lavanya is happy for them. They take blessings and gifts from everyone. Kushi says to Payal look how happy Anjali is. She is looking for her husband. Payal says forget it just come and help me. She wants one more minute to see. Mami sees her peeking and doesn't like it. Mami comes in and scolds her and says they should be working not just standing around and Kushi tells her sweets are served later. Mami says so you are not going to work before you serve the desserts? Go'Payal nudges her and says Okay. Kushi is quite angry with Mami right now but Payal soothes her. Mami is just a shabby person. She was literally trying to treat them as servants.I wish Nani watched this, so she might teach her a lesson.

Chit chat during the party, Mami talking about jewelry and Shyam is praising his bride. Lavanya's friends come to the party dressed in modern short skirts which Nani notices and is not pleased. The event manager comes to the girls making sure everything is going well and after they say yes he goes to ASR. As the manager is talking to ASR, ASR is just playing peek a stare with Kushi. She becomes very uncomfortable and leaves the room. Payal follows and Anjali wants them to play hide and seek with Shyam, no she wants them to meet her husband. On the way to meet him Nani calls Anjali and she leaves them. Mami sees them and tells them to serve the juice. Payal spills the juice and Kushi says she will go and find the wipes. Akash finds Payal and hands her her hanky which Mami is observing. Payal thanks him for the dupatta. I did not know it was from you. He says yes. Mami is in utter shock. She says to herself she came with sweet contract and now she is trying to make contacts. "Veil? I don't understand about the veil. I have to get rid of these Lucknow sisters." What game will she play now?

Kushi is at poolside looking for a towel. ASR questions her, "You said you were going to Lucknow." Kushi tries to walk around him and leave but he grabs her arm and pulls her close. She tries to free herself from his grasp. She asks him, why this insolence? He answers he can be ruder and she knows it. "I asked you a question. You said you were going to Lucknow and you weren't coming back. Then why are you here?" "Leave me, otherwise'" "Otherwise what?" Perhaps you are at home here. "This is my home" "I know this is your home. We spent all the money and manager did not tell us in time. I would have rather committed suicide then come to your home (and play hide and seek or peek-a-boo)." He answers that she has worked there before and anyway people like her will do anything for money. Lavanya calls for ASR while Kushi is in an uncomfortable position and tries to break free from him. She breaks his grasp and steps back. Lavanya asks her why she is here. She looks at ASR and leaves with her payal falling off her ankle. He sees. Lavanya asks if she belongs here. He says forget it. I say, yes she does. La says yes forget her! Surprise is on now. He looks back at Kushi's payal on the ground. At least he has another reminder of her.Yes Khushi sure belongs there and in ASR's mind, that's why she always left something for ASR. The dancers come on and everyone is uncomfortable except La and Mami. The dance ends with Lavanya in the finale.

Kushi is going to light the candles on the anniversary cake, she bends down to get the matches as Shyam turns to look. Hide and seek has begun. When he turns again he sees her. He remembers her saying she got a contract for a large sweet order. Uh oh it was his!

Someone is in trouble! It's your turn to play hide and seek. Go hide Shyam, we will close our eyes and count to 100. Ready GO'1'.2'.3'.4'..5'.

Loved your brilliant update of the episode.
Loved the lines in red and bold is my answers.
There was lot of peek a boo in the episode. Actually it was very common in IPK.The master VM maker Zoha once made a VM with an old hindi song "lukachupi khele hum".I don't know how to post a video. Otherwise I'll post it.

quick thoughts on episode 56

during puja hour, a grandson seeks out a grandma. he needs her to be her usual self, loving, forgiving, the elder. without her in a state of calm, he knows his sister's anniversary party would just not feel right, no matter how perfect his arrangements. he needs his naniji
to feel like naniji. otherwise he can't really function well, nor actually, can she.

"main janta hoon hamare ghar ke jo halat..." hesitation??? did asr just sort of hesitate? how sweet. "...hain... i mean... aapke aur mere beech ki jo tension hai." i know the situation at home... i mean... the tension between you and me...

a contrite look, an even air, no bristling bits, the younger to the elder.

"i know what's happening in the house, but despite that..., " his lovely nani cuts in, and then witha regall air, "hum ee ghar ke bade hain... i am the elder of the family... which is why after much thinking i've decided that tomorrow we shall neither fight nor..."

"this is what you came to talk about...," sweetest nod from grandson and hint of smile that spoke oceans from grandma... emotions and their meaning in a relationship. you can sense each other. he too came because he knew naniji would listen.

he looks on, a streak of admiration in his gaze now... yes there is much to learn from this woman.

"humri payal ke chhamchham se hoti hai... ka hai na manorama ka time pe taiyyar hona muskil hi nahi namumkin hai." to not like this crazy coot mano darling is not merely difficult, it's impossible i say. utkarsha naik brought so much to this off the wall, pretty strange character. layers here too. if only the makers had stayedw with original tale, might have got a look at mamaji, mamiji lau ishtory, ah, maybe in the sequel?

at last the creatives find the perfect way to show shyam. why not carry on like this. think we were all in the same state when he threw the anniversary gift saree around his wife's head and then imagined it was khushi he was looking at adoringly. felt like sickness, sexual predation, and a complete desecration of khushi's privacy all at one. and did they just make his hair fly a la asr khushi rabba vey? can't forgive.

"arre shativan, jahan raizada house hai..."
is their no end to the poor girl's troubles? how she resisted this meeting again. something in her could neither stop thinking of him, nor want to run away from him. all these awful feelings he aroused in her. some she understood, but what about the ones she didn't. that's what i believe caused this level of panic.

she walks in.. he's on the phone... he pauses, eyes looking up... a breeze rises... reaches her, she senses something... piano notes traipse in...hey hey, he lets the phone leave his ears, constantly on it since yesterday as though his mind must be kept busy, even while talking to la it was stuck to his ear, but now... she steps and looks aware... rabba vey...

see you on 57.

episode 57!!!!! the Maha episode!!

This one will be super short

this one was all about hit and misses...khushi trying to run away from arnav but eventually gets caught by him...she does the same thing again by running away from him when he wanted to talk to her...this whole time arnav had khushi in his thoughts, wondering if she left or not...and when he saw her he is wondering why she is there. Arnav asked his di why khushi is here and she said she got the mithai contract...and told him he should know since he planned everything. Arnav then said i made the order, if i knew she was making it i would have never let her make it. His ego is still bruised. Khushi is helping around the house and avoiding arnav and this whole time arnav's eyes are looking for khushi...he sees her going to teh poolside and does not let this chance go and immediately leaves to see her. Arnav finds her and asked her why is she here and she is suppose to be in lucknow and khushi said she was suppose to have the situation made her stay back...IF she knew the mithai order what for him, she would have never done it...These two have some big egos...none of them are willing to bend. La comes and khushi takes it as a chance to leave...as she leaves her payal fell...arnav notices this and wants to take it but la pulls him away.

La is just smh. La told anjam that she has a surprise for them and it will happen later in the night. La went around to see her friends and nani sees her friends and looked disapproving. La's surprise was a dance performance for the song character dhela hai...I found it fitting since shyam's character is quite dhela...maybe that was the point of the song being at the anniversary...la towards the end started to dance and at the ends...the family's face was like wth just happened

As for khushi seeing anjali ji's husband, she was not able too..there were so many hit and misses but at the end shyam saw khushi and he will begin to hide and make excuses...will khushi see shyam??? we will have to find out on monday

The story has some movement for payal and akash's relationship...akash is always trying to talk to her but payal is oblivious to this...mami ji gets mad because she thinks payal will trap akash like she did her husband...she has something cooking in her mind to give the gupta sisters a bad name
