chp 14: Don't You Remember ?
People change over the years , and mostly by their Body, and 10 years is enough to make someone look so different, that was the case with Geet , she grew up a lot and change a lot on her look she is no longer that small girl with eyeglasses and short hair and sportwear that yash use to know
Flashbacks
The police was fulling the place, even CID officers were there and some of the interpole , Nandini was giving her Testimony to a policeman and Dev was standing next to her , Geet was a few step also geving her Testimony, but she keep looking chupke chupke to Maan who was also talking of one of the officer, journalist also Filled the place , it seem that the gang was part of an international Network in the slave trade , they kidnap virgin girls from india and other country , and sell them on other places , the Pub is just a Front, since they hide the girls on the Cellar, and that night they taking them to other place on that van ,Nandini was the last one and she keep fight them and sceaming then Geet hear her , thats why Geet didn't find enyone when she was lost they were busy with the transfer of the girls, they were almost 20 girls that was taking that night
The officer " We gonna need your Testimony again tomorow, could you please come ? "
Geet " Sure , just give me the adress "
After a few minute the officer leave Geet after saying to her " Your action saved many girls tonight , you are realy brave "
Geet " Thanks sir "
Geet then was standing alone when Dev and Nandini come to her
" Thanks you for saving me " Nandini said
" I didn't do enything you should thanks those guys, they realy help us" then she look at Dev and said " Thanks "
Dev " No thanks, , but you dont remember me ?"
Geet " Yeh, we meet a few days ago , on the meeting for the Campaign for "Maan Singh Khurana companies""
Dev " Yes, i have to say you are realy brave "
Maan then come and said " And stupid too "
Everybody look at him then he add " You were lucky that i notice you , those men a realy Dangerous"
Geet " Maybe it a stupid's action but i have a realy weird luck this days , im just so lucky "
Maan just smile then Dev introduce them " Maan this is Miss Geet remember the one that i told you about , she will be the one that will do the Campaign, we have a meeting with her on monday " then he look to Geet and " And ..."
Geet cut him saying " Let me gess Mr Maan Singh Khurana " then she proffer her hand, when their hands touch a weird shiver run to there bodies, Maan just ignore it and said shake her hand saying " Another reason to not do a stupid actions , it will be a lose if you didn't have our work done "
Geet add with sarcasm trying to hide to hit that run on her body while shaking her hand " Realy happy to see that you have a concern for the people that work with you "
Maan smile and said " I only have concern for those who will give me a gain "
Geet " Dont worry i will make sure to stay alive till monday "
Dev and Nandini start to laugh and even Maan start to laugh
and that shock Dev ,Geet think looking at him "He still look down everytime he laugh "
When Maan look down laughing he notice that Geet was Barefoot
then he stop laughing and said " Why you don't wear Shoes ? "
Geet also look and realize that she was Barefoot all this time then she said " O about that i use them to hit the gangs "
Nandini then smile and said " She is realy good at aimaing she hit 2 men a direct hit in the head "
Maan then bend take off his shoe , and shock everybody when he say offering it to Geet " Wear this "
Geet with shock " But what about you ? "
Maan " My car is over there , just wear it "
Geet couldn't argu with him simply because he was not asking her, he was ordering her , Geet was wearing the shoes , and during all this time her heart didn't stop beating like she was runing for miles , she saw Maan walking away , she said then " Thanks "
Maan stop look at her , then smile ans said " Take care of your self miss Geet "
Geet then blush , while Maan keep walking to his car,Dev then want to follow him when Nandini stop him saying " Your jacket "
Dev " Its ok, keep it i will come to take it later , i hear that they will take take you to the "City Hospital " See you there tomorow "
Nandini smile and said " Ok "
Then Dev stop and said " By the way im Dev "
Nandini smile and said " Im Nandini "
Dev smile and said " Goodnight Nandini and see you later "
Nandini " Goodnight see you later "
Then Dev look at Geet that was still looking at Maan who was heading to his car , " Good night miss Geet see you later "
Geet then comeback to earth look at Dev and said " Goognight, Dev "
Dev then fallow Maan , Geet just keep looking at his car leaving
and then she smile and said " Goodnight Maan , but don't You remember me ?"
People change a lot over the years , but what can we do if our love couldn't remember us ?
