I'd like to dedicate this post to Drashti Dhami.
SPECTACULAR performance today! No words can describe how well she did. Drashti definitely managed to portray Madhu's heartbreak perfectly. That's exactly what heartbreak is like. Shock, denial, acceptance, tears. Amazing. CVs did wonderful with showing Madhu's heartbreak as well! The rest of the cast once again did amazing! Including Vivian, Pallavi, Arti, Seema, and Sikky (don't know his real name).
Moving on to the episode:
Beginning, RK once again had me confused in the beginning. With the new promo and the precap...nothing makes sense to me anymore. I'm beginning to think that yeah, he did do everything for revenge...BUT he didn't realize he actually fell in love. NOW, he'll begin to realize that throughout his revenge, he really did manage to fall in love. His revenge managed to mask those feelings within him. He's going to miss her now and slowly come to the realization that all along, his love, was not a lie.
Madhu's walking in a trance and flashbacks was really sad. It put me to tears. And what hurt the most was when Padmini shook Madhu and she just shook like a doll. Like she had no control of her body. She was just a body. She was completely dead on the inside. She was like a living corpse...
Then when she gets taken home and Trishna runs in. Honestly, I wasn't happy with her being there. That was until she tried to help Madhu out of her shock. I was just screaming "Snap out of it Madhu! Snap out of it!" at my laptop.
Then when Padmini began to remove her jewellery...oh god...so upsetting...and when Madhu places her hand on her mangulsutra. I was screaming "RIP IT OFF!" and then the next second I was screaming "DON'T RIP IT OFF!" and the next "RIP IT OFF!", I literally went back and forth ten times...I was so confused with what I wanted to happen there. I wanted her to be free and then I wanted her not to be completely separated from RK and so I was confused...
The scene where Madhu fell back onto the bed after placing her mangulsutra away, AH, INSTANT TEARS. That brought back so many memories. She was literally lying on the bed, still as a corpse...
Gotta admit, as much as I hate Trishna for cursing Madhu, I'm glad she took the blame and accepted it. That takes a lot of guts, to accept fault.
Then when Madhu got up, I was afraid that she was going to hurt herself. And she just runs out and ends up by the RK billboard (what a coincidence).
Trishna is smart! I'm really glad she held back Padmini and said that Madhu needed to be alone. Because she DID! Being alone would be the only way that Madhu would be able to have reality hit her.
The way Madhu smiled after the memories...and then suddenly reality LITERALLY hit her in the face and it seems as though the wind is knocked out of her. And she looks around and realizes she's at the chawl and not with RK. Drashti did wonderful! So good!
The way she burst out crying...my tears began flowing along with hers at that point.
The way she kept saying that she wants to see RK, OHMYGOD CAN THE CVS BREAK OUR HEARTS ANY MORE?! I was sobbing by then.
But the one line that caught my attention and just completed today's heartbreaking episode for me was..."How will I live?!"...that line...it just sums up heartbreak in one line. By that point, I had tissues and was trying my best not to cry so much in front of my family.
DD...you're amazing. You did so well today...no one else could have done better.
Your expressions, your body movements, your actions, your crying...it all seemed so real...almost as though you really had a reason to cry in real life, not only reel life. So amazing. SO AMAZING. No words can describe how wonderful you did today...you left many people speechless. What a performance! <3
Can I just add that...Vivian's new photo shoot picture...HOW CAN SOMEONE LOOK SO HOT?! EEEK *FAN-GIRLING* *DIES*
