2. I liked the fight that took place on the famous Scindhia mansion bridge in the Thursday episode --a place where the silent lily studded pool has been a witness to various situations ranging from blossoming passions to smouldering anger. The bridge here symbolised the unbridgeable class gap between the Scindhiyas and Akash. The bridge became a no-mans-land of sorts, a neutral arena where battles of class, culture, name, and status were fought. The gun, symbolizing the blame-game was variously pointed turn by turn. The targets kept shifting, but the blame-game continued.
3. Is it not interesting that even after two episodes, we do not know the name of Akash's mother? Akash's mother is just that --mother of Akash. She emerged from her incognito cocoon to fulfill the role of the mother in protecting her son from insults. Furthermore, she is nameless, yet, partly because she has no identity in the the Scindhiya parivar, and partly because she is not accepted as someone worthy of knowing by SP. In SP's refusal to acknowledge her, she remains nameless; yet ironically, this small-time woman, the one without a name is all set to destroy the name of one of the foremost family lineages-- this is what I love about the CVs. Despite the fast pace, they can sneak in various kinds of symbols designed to bring out subtleties of the plot.
