She was mercilessly bashed
It was personal bashing
Just like the personal bashing of Barun now

As a human being she does not deserve it
Just as Barun does not deserve it as a human being
So this whole argument of
'Gul was bashed so Barun was bashed
or
Barun was bashed so Gul was bashed'
not withstanding
She does deserve sympathy and sorry

Professionally
Just as there were reasons for people to question Barun (though I still think it's a personal choice to leave a job which is in this case is the ASR role)
There are reasons to question Gul too
Why did Gul leak the news of Barun's leaving to a journo first
This was the start of all the theory that Gul is conspiring
All she needed to do was come and say 'Yes Barun is leaving' or
'No Barun is not leaving'
Ok let's assume that she did not want to say anything
Then why tell a jounro in the first place
and then make some stupid PR statement in FB saying Mom said not to talk to strangers'
Why this terrible PR and changing statements?
Next came her intention to run the show
Sure she wanted to continue
Sure she wanted this show to run
So, why come and declare the show has run its course?
Why no attention was paid to any track for months?
I refuse to believe that Barun's 40 day leave or his leaving for movies is not a reason
Remember she was always planning to continue this show irrespective of Barun?
So what was the reason for the negligence?
And last point
Gul is a media person
Gul has access to every channel
So why does she consistently use her actors to defend herself?
Why cant she come out and straight lash out at people or defend herself?
Why does she make her actors praise her, in front of her, in her forum?
Why does she put her actors in the line of fire time and again while hiding behind the scenes?
So, Yes
Gul does deserve apology as a person for the personal bashing
She is a living, breathing entity
And I can feel her pain
But professionally
As a maker of a show
as a media person
as a boss
She does not deserve an apology
Because she made many mistakes

I know this post will be bashed

I care two hoots for people who refuse to hear two sides of the story calmly
And I care even less for people who get into personal insult
