I have been seeing posts as to how the character of Shivraj Shekhar should have been given more flesh and form and how little we know of his childhood and family.How more detailing about his professional life and fis family is needed to make the character more complete.
I thought I would try and figure out what his life was like till the time he met Anandi from what they have shown till now.
He seems like somebody who had a fairly comfortable trouble free life till now which included a happy and secure childhood days of carefree youth good education childhood and yout filled packed with activities which most of the children and young adults lives seem to be filled with sports, spending time with friends going on holidays all these things made possiible by his loving family which has given him love comfort and security.
He seems have done well in academics in school and college.And has managed to get academic qualifications from the western world
He himself has told that he was in the college football team.
He has a doting mother and an aunt who not only loves and cares for him more than his mother does but cares for him more than she cares for his son.A father who is very proud of him and absloutely trusts his son'judgement in matters concerning his own life.The kind of confidence this father has in his son can come only from the way he brought up his son.He knows his son imbibed his values that he stands for.So that tells how his father brought him up.
And of course the doting grand father who takes pride in his eldest grandson.The apple of his eye.His love did not turn him into a spoilt brat.
His younger sister who thinks the world of her brother and it is pretty obvious that she is spoilt rotten by her doting older brother who call her his doll.
For his younger brother he is role model.
As for the kind of person that he is despite receiving so much in life he has not turned into a spoilt brat.He doesn't have the feeling of entitlement.
He went abroad for higher studies buts stayed true to his roots.The fact that he is called Desi boy by his friends tells how all things Indian matter to him.He came back to India to serve the rural India who has dreams and aspirations of making his country a better place to live.
He makes his own decisions about the things that concern his life.But at the same time it is important that his family be comfortable with his decisions.
On the professional front it was obvious from what they have shown that he is a very efficient and honest upright government officer from what they have show so far that he is the CM's favourite officer.His capabilities are well recognised and appreciated his upright nature is applauded.
I think the CVs have given us a complete picture of him starting from his childhood till now.
They have shown us the kind of officer he is through his interactions with CM, Heth Singh and Anandi.
They have shown his childhood life through his interactions with his family members.
They have shown us about his dreams and aspirations including the kind of life partner he wanted through interactions with his friend Ashima
And most importantly his relationship with Anandi and through his perception of Anandi they are showing what kind of a man he is.
He is in awe of the person who used the darkness and shadows in her life as the motivation to bring light into other people's life.In her he sees a better image of himself.That tells us so much about him.
He fell in love with her on seeing her capacity to love and her strength which did not allow her to become bitter and disillusioned about life despite the way it treated her.
This is what I have gathered about the life and character of Shivraj Shekhar from what they have shown.I do not know how complete or incomplete this picture is.
