While Sanjay Leela Bhansali compares Shveta's grace to that of Madhuri Dixit's, the other judge Shilpa Shetty thinks no less of her. "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has given India a new dancing star — a star is born already," says Shilpa. But that doesn't take the limelight away from Mona, who's been rising on the popularity meter slowly but steadily.
Talking about the odyssey so far, the much-lighter Mona (yes, the gal has lost eight kilos) gushes, "I have emerged as hot, sexy, namkeen from the earlier tag of cute and innocent girl." Well, the success behind these two charming ladies does go to their choreographers — Toby and Longinus.
And more on the show... going by the buzz doing the rounds, the grand finale will be nothing short of an entertainment explosion. While all eight choreographers will dance to Latin American dance specialist Sandip Soparrkar's steps, the eight celebrity-participants will get together to scorch the dance floor. And this is not all, judges Farah Khan and Shilpa Shetty will take to the stage too. Farah will dance with four choreographers in a self choreographed performance. And the hosts Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi are all set to charge the already electrified atmosphere with their bhangra beats! And a li'l bird tells us that Arshad Warsi is expected as special guest.
So, who will be crowned as the dancing diva — Mona or Shveta? To find out, watch the two-hour telecast of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa tonight at 8 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
