Chapter 9A: Dil ki achaayi hoton pe…
Rathod: [not convinced by his second in command's reply…..he could sense that Arjun exactly knew more that what he knew about Aisha] bilkul farq padtha hai!!...[pausing]...haan usske bina cases solve karthe teh par ab woh bhi team ka issa hai toh usse bhi equally contribute karna chahiye….naa khe personal kaam karthi rahe! [he spat out angrily]
Arjun: [placing the file on his table and standing up] tumaari marzi…par ab bhi kehta hoom ke usse leave sanction kar dho….usski koyi majhboori hogi…..warna leave nahi mangthi…..
[Arjun exits the room leaving behind a clueless Rathod who is left thinking "ab isse kabse Aisha ke itni fikhr hone lagi??? Strange!"…..
He sighed deeply as he signed sanctioning the leave!

Rathod called in Aisha to inform her about the sanction"Aisha, tum dho din ke leave le sakthi ho…."
Aisha was damn happy and said "thanks sir!" but the next instant, he said something that crashed her joy to the earth….He spoke up in a rather frustrated yet controlled tone
"thanks mujhse nahi Rawte se kehna…usi ke wajeh se sanction kiya hai….anyways, sirf dho din….usske agle din sharp waapas aa jaana…"
Aisha wanted to cancel her leave then and there but she controlled herself….one thought about Pari was enough to stop her from proceeding that…..She couldn't afford to bring in her ego here!
If Arjun sir was behind this sanction, then be it…she couldn't turn it out this time…just for Pari, she had to let go……there was no other option…..if not for pari, she could have torn away the leave application and walked out!
This man was really getting on her nerves now by piling up his favors and burdening her down under all those! The last thing Aisha wished for were such obligations! She had lived a free life for so many years now with no such ties and strings to pull her down….but Pari, she was one strong string which could make her bow her head a thousand times!
Aisha left the room taking in a deep breath! "There sure will be a pay back time when I will return all your favors Sir, that's a promise!" she said to herself firmly!

ETF office….the same evening…..The team is in the conference room when Shree announces some of his findings….he holds out the test reports..
"Sir, uss letter se khoon ka test kiya tha….ek shocking baat patha chali hai….."
Rathod is shocked seeing the report "iska matlab woh khoon insaan ka nahi koyi jaanwar ka hai![putting down the report on the table] Dammit"
Shree: haan sir….shaayad ek khutte ka hai!
Chotu couldn't help laughing and commenting "isska matlab Pintu hi hai jo yeh sab…."
A glare from Rathod was enough to shut his mouth….He stopped his words and looked around…
Aisha couldn't help smiling at that funny remark….Shree was already chuckling….
Arjun sat there unaffected thinking deeply and his revolving pen is the only sign of the thought process within him….He had a file with a set of papers with him which were the mails and letters that had come to Sheela!
He sat up and leaned forward to the table and spoke up "Sheela ke ghar se hi koyi hai jo yeh sab kar raha hai!"
Aisha: [looking to his side] shaayad Sheela hi kar rahi hogi! I mean khud ki popularity keliye aksar aise gimmicks karthe rehte hai!
Arjun: nahi woh yeh sab planning nahi kar sakthi….
Aisha raised her eyebrows "aap uss ladki ki…"
Arjun snapped her short and continued reading her mind exactly "usski khabiliyat pe shaq nahi kar raha hoom…..bas itna keh raha hoom ke agar woh inn sab mein involved hoti toh ETF ko bulaane ka galthi kabhi nahi karthi….bas aise hi controversy aur publicity mein lagi rehthi!"
Shree: par sir aapko kaise pathaa ke usske ghar se hi kisika kaam hai!
Rathod speaks up "haan Rawte, tum itne yakeen ke saath yeh baat kaise keh rahe ho? koyi bhi kisi bhi jaanwar ka khoon se likh saktha hai…"
Arjun: uss khoon ko chodo Rathod…..agar tum phir se inn letters aur mails ke aane ka timings aur patterns check karoge toh khud hi pathaa chal jaayega……Sheela itni bhi badi celebrity nahi hai ke usske harr waqt ka khabar sabko patha lag jaaye….yeh saare letters usse usske personal time pe hi milaa hai! aur mails bhi usske personal id pe bhejaa hai….koyi baahar ka aadhmi usske personal mail id kaise jaanega? Uss ke PA ne kahaa tha ke uss id ko bas ek maheena pehle hi create kiya aur Sheela ne kisiko apne id nahi di hai!…..aur usske contacts mein bohat kam log hai…..Shree tumne check kiya na?
Shree: yes sir….sirf usske parents, bhai aur kuch khareebi dhost hai…..maximum dus log!
Arjun: [standing up] toh bas, inn dus logon mein se hi koyi ek hai jo yeh kar saktha hai!
Rathod is a bit convinced with his argument and stands up "Aisha aur Rawte, Sheela ke ghar jaao aur unn handwriting aur mails check karo…main aur Chotu usske friends ko check karthe hai! Shree, tum uss mail ids ka pattern check karo jinnse yeh saare mails bheja gaya hai! shaayad uss se bhejne waale ka identity pathaa chal jaaye!"
Arjun: kuch milthe hi humein phone karna…
Shree: yes sir…

All through the drive, Aisha is silent and looks a bit tensed…..Arjun didn't bother to ask her the matter but he could sense her restlessness…She kept looking at her watch!
Aisha's mind voice: its almost 7…..bas ek ghante mein bus nikhal jaayegi….agar miss hogaya toh! No use thinking about it…..I can never catch that bus….ab Sheela ke ghar jaakhe investigation poora karna hai….i cant ask for another help now….mujhe bus ka plan drop karna hi hoga…..
Aisha had planned to go by the night bus to Pari's boarding school as she wished to be before Pari when she opened her eyes in the morning on her b'day!…..
[Pari was put in a less known boarding school called Spring Blossom in Pune….Aisha had purposefully chosen it because it wasn't too far away yet wasn't near…..]
Aisha takes her phone and dials a number and speaks in a hushed up voice "hello……hold on…mere baat pehle sunlo….yeah yeah….uske copy bhi liya tha…but I don't think I can make it…..tum pls uss ticket ko cancel kardena….haan ek important kaam hai…..i cant leave it…try to understand…[a bit flaring up]..just cancel it Dhruv…[mellowing down again]..no no….dont bother….i know tum busy ho…I will manage…kuch na kuch karlungi…...haan baba….I will keep you informed….[she smiles and bids bye] bye…..u take care too!
Though hushed up and in low voice, Arjun's ears were sharp enough to grab every single word! But he didn't bother to enquire anything to her!
He could understand that she had to go somewhere urgently and it was getting cancelled because of this case investigation!!
But he had no intentions to poke into her affairs and in return get poked by her!
They reach Sheela's place…..A few minutes into the questioning and handwriting checks, the case is cracked down….In between Shree also calls up with the mail id pattern which confirms the inferences…….
Arjun's intuition was right…..It was Sheela's mom and brother behind all this planning…..They had no harmful intentions…..their sole aim was to get Sheela into the news and make her more hot and happening……Though she had modeling assignments, her career wasn't going great…..So her brother devised the whole plan of threats along with her mom in tow……
They were left baffled when Sheela pulled in ETF all of a sudden even without discussing with them…..They tried their best to keep ETF away but failed…..They also tried their best to mislead ETF but all went vain!
Arjun was quite pissed off with them….He cursed the fact that they were drawn into such a hopeless silly case!

It was almost 10 when the team reached back at ETF….Aisha completed her bit of the paper work and prepared to leave bidding bye to Shree and CHotu….She had brought her bag to office…so she planned to leave from there directly…..
Aisha: so Shree, Chotu, dho din baadh milthe hai….bye
They also smile and say bye…."
Shree: bye, holidays ka mazaa lena….
Chotu: [letting a deep sigh] haan haan..humaare hisse ka mazaa bhi kar lena….na jaane hum kab aise….
Aisha cut him short "ok guys….nikhalthi hoom…." And hurried out…..
Once outside, she felt a vehicle slowing down next to her……She turned around startled holding out her revolver in an impulse…..
"Arjun Sir!" she almost shouted….He stopped the SUV to the side and lowered the glass, asking her to get in…."Get in…..I will drop you!"
Aisha rolled her eyes stunned by his offer "no thanks….aap jaahiye…..waise bhi, main ghar nahi kahi aur jaa rahi hoom…."
Arjun got down and came to her…..he spoke up flaring up a bit "patha hai…wahi drop karne ki baat kar raha hoom……chalo.."
Aisha sported a smirk and turned away from his side "you have no idea where I am going…so just leave me alone!"
Arjun: [sarcastically] iss waqt Pune keliye koyi bus ya lift nahi milne waali…….so, nakhre bandh karo aur chup chaap beito!
Aisha let out a shocked gasp first but then controlled it and replied angrily "mujhe kisike bhi help ki zaroorat nahi hai…."
Arjun mellowed down "I know…tumhe mere help ki zaroorat nahi par shaayad tumaari beti ko tumaari zaroorat hai!"
That came as a real shocker to her…..she was really furious knowing that he had digged into her life……She was having a real tough time controlling her anger…..Her fuse blown out totally, she turned to look at him face to face!
