They met on an aptly named television serial – Dil Mil Gaye, a medical drama which focused more on the doctors' hearts than the patients' health. Romance did not immediately flourish because Karan was married to Shraddha Nigam back then. However, rumours began to spread and cracks began to develop in Karan's married life. Shraddha and Karan divorced and Karan got hitched to Jennifer in a beautiful wedding ceremony.
