Well, there is some good and bad news for all our TV shows as TAM (Television Audience Measurement) will now also be taking into account the ratings of MP, UP, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan in week 5 (28 January- 2 February 2013).

Ever since digitization came into force, TAM had been taking just the metro ratings into consideration. However, this week onwards, they have decided to also consider the ratings of MP, UP, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Now, viewers can expect a lot of surprises in the coming week.

Furthermore, we also hear that due to this change, the rating will come in by Thursday instead of usual Wednesday.

And if sources are to be believed, TAM is expected to cover all the states by end of March 2013.

Khamoshiyaan to go off air on 23 February (2013)

Star Plus' Mujhse Kuchh Kehti..Yeh Khamoshiyaan has been in doldrums ever since TAM started releasing weekly ratings after a break owing to digitalization. The fact was that the show had fared disastrously on the rating chart in its initial weeks and various last minute creative changes made could not alter its fate. To top it all, the lead actor of the show Mohit Sehgal left the show citing health reasons. And with the channel not providing creative inputs to the show, it was very evident that Khamoshiyaan was going to be short-lived.

And now comes the confirmation on the show's closure. A reliable source informed us that Khamoshiyaan would end on 23 February 2013 with a mahaepisode. And Sanjay Leela Bhansali's big ticket fiction show Saraswatichandra will launch on 25 February and will take the 7.30 pm slot. (😭😭 we have got new competitor now..sanjay leela bhansali...i can see trp's getting affected)

Earlier, there was a speculation that Bhansali's show might be offered the 8 pm slot with Kaali Ek Punar Avatar getting pushed to the 11 pm slot. But withKhamoshiyaan's never-ending problems, the channel has decided to pull the plug off the show first.

When contacted, Producer Rohit Vaid (Trilogy Krikos) confirmed the news.

All we can say is Cheerio to Khamoshiyaan and a warm welcome to Bhansali on the small screen.

^^ Dont worry its a sad ending story and SLB s highly over rated 😆 He just loves to splurge on grand sets!! We manged to beat SSK which was going strong from years so we are safe!!!

i know, i saw dat movie too...very very sad😭

and about SLB...hmmm, his name is so influential, weak hearted people like me do get affected for once😆

So tht Sanjay leela bhansali stuff to air on 7:30.. ! ofcourse in strting we can comption bt SSLK is already a establish show..n almst on its highest peak ryt now. .with most interesting stry line cureentli.. so we not need to worry as far as SSLK stry is doing like this onli!
