Agree with you 100 %. I was shocked at first...but the slap is justifiable, considering Zoya's timming.

Okay if an 85 year old woman was in Zoya's place. And the old crouching lady was responsible for Dilshaad's being shot? Would it have been okay for Asad to slap her?

I totally agree with you. I don't think some people now what domestic violence means. I think that they recenetly heard the word that's why they are using the word "domestic violence" too much.

Where I come from the only time your allowed to use your fists is in self defense and even then your not allowed to use excessive force.

Well Asad is the lead of the story. So obviously there were reasons why he did what he did. But does that make it okay? Asad is not the guy on the railway station who would hit Zoya out of the blue. If the reasons are justifiable to you, I'm not saying you are wrong. But I disliked the scene enough to stop watching it further. I disagree with writers behind the screenplay. Respect my POV as well.
