Slapping a Women is wrong but slapping a women coz of whom ur mom is lying in death bed situation is not even 0.01% wrong. I think people r forgetting why womens has to be respect coz a women become a mother. So Mother is most important. Asas woldnt have slapped zoya if i was Ayan or Najma instead of his ammi.

I agree . Asad believes tht Zoya is the reason fr his mom's fatal condition...I see his slap as absolutely jusfied !...No one cn think straight wen ones mom is lying in deathbed & tht too nt under natural circumstances ...the slap ws impulsive !! He wud 've done the same if it wud 've been Nazma instead of Zoya ! It cnt b in any way compared with domestic or any other kind of violence tht women face around the world !!...its absolutely ridiculous tht sum ppl r mixing both up !

Actually one of the main problems with feminism is tht it exploits the legitimate claims of equal rights as a cloak to usher... its devisive, hateful & neurotic interests . Interests tht r plainly anti-male & nt at all abt equal rights !!

Violence is always wrong and should never be condoned under any circumstances!

In reality we all make mistakes, nobody is perfect! Asad has obviously made a very big mistake! So now we will have to watch to see how he can rectify this situation if that's possible!

huge misunderstanding.

A slap is a slap!

The issue is not about gender..😕

Anger can be expressed in different form other than hitting Zoya,

Asad could have punched the wall,

shouted at Zoya, 😡

uttered some strong angry dialogue.

Slapping is hitting ( especially when it is so hard that blood oozed out) and an example of domestic violence, no matter how you slice it.

You can justify on Asad's reaction by saying that he is basically ill tempered. He grew up without a father figure in his developmental years...no matter what ...the act belittle Asad's character.
