He SLAPPED Zoya ?!

This ruins Asad's character for me completely, and degrades him from 'Protective' and possessive to downright chauvinistic b******

Hit the damned wall. But NOT the lady. A gentleman NEVER , not under ANY circumstances hits a lady.

Writers ... was this really ncessary ??!!

Firstly, I totally agree with your post, Rafi. Having Asad hit Zoya kind off ruined his character for me today !! The one thing I truly believe in real life is that when a guy hits you, no matter what the reason is, you walk out the door !!

So, to see Asad, a man who has such high principles and hold women in high regard cause of his mother, hit Zoya was a little off his character for me and it did make me go WTH ASAD ??!! When I heard Zoya say Mr.Khan, I expected him to punch the wall, any THING to show her that she's the last person he wants to talk to right now but I did not expect him to actually hit her, and that too so hard that she stumbles upon the medical trolley and cut herself. A guy should NEVER EVER hit a girl, no matter what the reason may be !!

Though I find that this act degraded Asad's character a little, I also have to say that I can't help but see a little logic into why the writers may have written this scene. We all know that Asad gets mad at Zoya quite a lot, most of the time it ends with him just saying hurtful things to her, other more severe times have called upon the punching bag or his poor phone being broken to pieces.

But this time, it wasn't just Zoya alone. It was the fact that he trusted her once and she broke it by hiding Mariam in the house. Then he gives her another chance by making sure that she sends Mariam away and right now, in his mind, she has broken his trust twice by still keeping Mariam in the house. Though we know Zoya did what he wanted and it was Dilshad who brought Mariam back, Asad is still in the impression that this all started and ended cause of Zoya. Add all this to the fact that the person closest to his heart, his Ami is fighting for dear life, no man can think rationally right now, especially a person who is as hot tempered as Asad Ahmed Khan.

So, in a way, Asad's blow out of hitting Zoya is understandable cause degrading as the act may be, the causes that lead to the act are things that are suppose to bring an extreme reaction out of Asad. Still, I maintain that the extreme reaction could have also been punching the wall or anything else than hitting Zoya. That was just not done and I hope the creatives keep that in mind the next time they want Asad to blow up in front of Zoya cause I would NEVER EVER want to see Asad or any guy in any show hit Zoya or any other girl in other shows !!

When we would never want such things to happen in real life, we also should not let it happen in shows too, even though they may be fictional cause it leaves a bad impression at the end of the day !!

are you telling me that just becoz 'she' is a woman ,she can practically cause his mother's death & yet be hugged by him...?Why?..just becoz she's a Woman???..sorry man..ur reasoning doesn't make sense!

Umm i didnt see the ep yet but i read a few posts..nd from that all i can say is..physical violence is never ever right.It was most def wrong of Asad to raise his hand on Zoya but still if it was Zoya wouldn't she have done the same? I mean his mother just got shot becuz of her mate.

So its wrong of asad but its a mistake i know that he wil regret. He is going to be ashamed of himself.

Did he degrade? noo i dont think so, his mom is dying. He is given a view that Zoya is the one who didnt let Mariyam go. What else is he supposed to do?

Not to forget that if Zoya had told Asad that Dilshad had brought Mariyam back, THIS WHOLE SCENARIO WOULDNT HAVE TAKEN PLACE.

HE did no wrong.

Period.

Just tell me one thing... where this MCP thing comes. Yaar his mother is on death bed and possible cause is Zoya coz he doon't knnow that Dilshad brought Marriyum back n u re expecting him to control his anger and act calmly. Oh please give me a break

The fact Gul Khan did this really disappoints me. Coming from a woman this is such a let down. And the cheering on an excitement of the women here to see this as something of a turn on or making Asad look sexy and tough? 🤢

I totally agree. Why did they have to show this. We can go into countless debates over why this happened, and yes in many ways Asad's action (the action alone) is understandable.

But that isnt the point. The point is why must they take a man who may be old fashioned but is still supposed to be a gentleman, a protector and a good guy and suddenly shatter all of that. And I would understand his literally taking Zoya's bags and kicking her out of the house, or cursing the f*** out of her but why did he have to do the one thing that he can never redeem himself from?

Because no matter what anyone says and no matter what the situation...a MAN never hits a girl.

Are u serious ?? ZOYSA caused this ???! Technically Dilshad brought this upon herself . SHE broughht Maryam back into the house, SH E pusjed Maryam away and leapt into the line of fire. Zoya turned Maryam away like Asad asked her to !! And Zoya ki ky agalti hi agar Asad ke rishtedar aake sab ussi ke galle b parhe ?? Zoya had the balls to do what Asad Doesn't. No one is asking him to HUG Zoya. No thatd be wildly inappropritae. But THIS is unacceptable

I dont follow this show... no idea in what circumstances he slapped but as a general view, a man, no matter how hard situation is not to raise his hands on a woman. ya tou solid prove ho k agli bandi deserve it. pr suni sunayi baat, which is presumption, thappad marna bada indecent kaam hai...
