Anandi hugged Shiv and was crying asking him to forgive her. Shiv could not see her cry and he was broken just like her, but he knew that she needed his support and hence broke his promise of not touching her and wrapped his right hand around her squeezing her arm giving her an assurance that he is with her in all ups and down, that he is with her for her till his last breath, that he is not in a hurry for anything, and that he loves her unconditionally. After being in a side hug for a good 15 to 20 minutes, Anandi broke the hug and looked at Shiv and was about to say something, when Shiv put his left index finger on her lips and nodding his head not to say anything. Anandi just stared into the deep chocolate brown eyes of Her and only Her husband. Shiv broke the silence that was there in the room for few minutes and said, "its late now, lets get some sleep now, we can continue the rest of the conversation tomorrow. Anandi agreed and both got up from their current position that was when both Shiv and Anandi realized that Shiv was still holding Anandi.
Shiv immediately took his hands off Anandi and at that very moment Anandi's heart swelled up leading her eyes to b filled with tears and it was for sure noticed by Shiv who gently wiped out the tears and said not to worry and everything will b alright as time passes by. Both took their positions on bed and drifted to sleep. Shiv was fast asleep, but Anandi could hardly sleep. Her past with Jagya came haunting in front of her eyes whenever she closed her eyes and not just the good days she spent with Jagya but the hurtful days too. Soon her thoughts shifted from Jagya's to Shiv and she who was having a frown on her face until then had a sweet smile on her face since the moment she was thinking of Shiv. She was so lost in Shiv's thoughts, she unknowingly went nearer to Shiv and lookd at his face. His hair was disheveled and lying forward on his forehead. Anandi rose her hand and set his hair with her hand and her hands automatically went all over his face slowly. Anandi never felt so pleasant and contented just with the small gesture of feeling his hairs and his face with her own hands and was so overwhelmed and decided to take her life to a new level along with her husband. She slept very near to her husband with her hand resting on his chest and slowly drifted to sleep with a contented smile on her face.
It was 5:30 in the morning, and the alarm rang and Shiv sheepishly opened his eyes, stretched his left hand and turned the alarm off. He then looked to his right where Anandi was sleeping and at first look he thought he was dreaming but then reality struck him and he opened his eyes and was surprised and more than happy to see his wife sleeping very close to him. He smiled at his sleeping beauty and was about to get up when he felt something holding him at his chest and when he looked, it was another surprise for him. His wife was sleeping very near to him with her hand on his chest. He just dint want to lose this moment and send a silent prayer to god asking him to stop the earth from rotating as the time would stay still. He lied back with a smile on his face and could not help himself from taking his eyes off his wife. He just kept staring at his wife with his wife on top of her hand which held him on his chest. Shiv understood her gesture of getting closer to him, but he wanted to confirm it and he dint have the courage to ask her even. Shiv thought that if he could wait so long for her to come near her he is ready to wait for some more time to open up herself completely. He just thanked the Almighty and his stars and the whole galaxy for giving him a pleasant surprise this morning with his beloved very near to him and not just near but holding him.
The sun rose up in the sky and the light fell on Anandi's face and she slowly opened her eyes as usual as she did all these days since her marriage. Every day when she woke up she was alone in the bed as Shiv used to go for his usual morning jog, but today was not the same day as those. She opened her eyes to find that Shiv was still in the bed and was staring at her. She smiled at him and wished him good morning. Shiv too responded her with a very sweet smile and with a very good morning. Both were still lying in the bed, Anandi unaware of her position or her close proximity. She asked him, "why dint u go for ur jog today." Shiv said, he woke up with an intention to go but could not as he dint feel like disturbing her sleep. Anandi was surprised at this answer and said that he usually goes for a jog before she gets up then wat was different today. Shiv smiled at her and said in a rather husky and a seductive tone that today his wife held him indicating him not to leave her and hence dint feel like going. Anandi first did not understood what Shiv was talking about, but in a fraction of a second realized that she was very close to shiv and not just close but was holding him with her hands. She suddenly took her hands away and got up to sit. Shiv's face suddenly changed from a smile to a pout and sat along with her and said, " I think I did the wrong thing by letting u know about ur hold on me." Anandi put a question mark face and Shiv explained further that "had I not said it, u would not have left the hold and would have been close to me like the previous night." Anandi blushed crimson red and Shiv noticed it. Anandi said that "maybe he did not notice, but she is still close to him, the only difference is that they are sitting now instead of sleeping." Shiv said in a husky tone that he is aware of their close proximity, but he is missing her touch." Anandi blushed and hit him playfully on his arms and got up to get ready for the day ahead.
