My dear girl,
I think it is us, and then Onir and Arjun, who need a therapist, and in that order!😉

Well, 4 years down the line, there will be no shock impact, and no chance of the lovelorn Arjun ditching his wife for Purvi and Onir giving his wife up magnanimously, for the greatest happiness of the greatest number (the ArVians in the PR forum). So I do not know if the need for a dramatic 'twist' will be satisfied or not.

Meanwhile, my grouse is that the cheeky Vishnu, who was for a while the sole bright spot around till Onir arrived on the scene, seems to have been practically shelved, along with his very entertaining baba.

Shyamala,

Treating the characters like real people and analyzing their actions has a prerequisite. That the characters stay consistent. You have to admit that that is just not there in PR. Every time, I try to predict something based on their character, it backfires big time.

Both you and I know that. We cannot explain the baby being Arjun's at all given Purvi's character as outlined to us. We were holding out strongly that the baby was Onirs. See where that left us,

Given that, how can we predict anything based on what we see as Purvi's character???

I am not justifying Ms Mahaanta - I have said multiple times she is few gray cells short right now and needs a therapist. I still do have a soft spot for the character that she was. And I do not subscribe to the theory she is manipulative or worse. Misguided, certainly.

Re keeping the baby secret. I agree with you. I do not believe it SHOULD come out. But in the true tradition of a daily soap it will. But, I am predicting that it will not come out now. My prediction (and I am usually wrong) is that there will be a 3/4 year leap and then the truth will come out.

Dear Shyamala, you are so right, all of the people I cited knew from the get go, these PR kids could too, know from the get go i.e :) But I will concede, this is India and we do not want any tectonic movements.

And I think you are right that the revelation or disclosure or whatever one may choose to call it will happen sooner than later. It becomes unacceptable to tear the couples apart 4 years down the road unless the CVs determine to leave the couples as they are but bring in the twist of the kids as a different story line altogether. One of the kids falling sick, probably Ovi's, and Purvi's kid being needed to save it. Couldn't be the other way around for the simple reason Ovi would accept Purvi's kid only if it saved her own child not the other way around.

I do not approve of what Purvi is doing but like Strega cannot fault her with being manipulative or worse. She is misguided, prides herself too much on her righteousness (hated her word "pakada" to Punni when she asked her about Mittal, why not "dekha"?) and lacks those gray cells definitely or they have gone for a long walk probably never to return :(

As for Arjun being bewitched by Purvi, I am not too sure. My standards of a man besotted are vastly different from Mr. K, sweet and all as he might be.

And the necklace bit, didn't Purvi say Aai gave it to her before Onir saw her Aai's gift? She might have been thinking aloud like "my mother gave me one to wear before you did", seeing Onir's crestfallen face, she was quick to correct herself and reassure him that it meant a lot to her and that his principles mattered.

I am missing cheeky Vishnu too. Soham, oh, Soham, where art thou? Come relieve us from this perpetual drama between the two girls, we need you like a strong breeze that blows the dark clouds away.

That boy is a very good actor and he plays the role to perfection. With Ankita leaving and Hiten in another show, I wonder what is planned.

His interactions with Purvi/Asha are also very good.
