Today's epi - a rambling take

Purvi - serve you right, Ms. Goody Two Shoes. You are in a soup now and a pretty hot and murky one at that! How do you propose getting out of this? Ask Manav baba for help to save his daughter's (Ovi's) marriage? Ask Onir to sell his lovely Kolkatta bungalow to fund the blackmailer? This way, Onir can become a permanent fixture at the K household. Ask Soham to help track the blackmailer and send the poor guy back to jail because he inadvertently murdered the blackmailer? Whatever it is that you are planning to do, do it with a cool head like that Purvi of old and not like this mahaanta creature you have become. Good luck!

Arjun - yucks, hugging wife, putting your hand on her knee, praying for her well-being (and of course, the all important baccha) and then making doe, sorry buck, eyes at Purvi? Get a grip, please.

Ovi - Praying for your perfect life now that you think you have your husband in the palm of your hand? Hmm, a house built on cards will surely come crashing down. I wonder how long this charade of goodness will last, as long as things are going your way, I guess. (BTW, you missed the eyelock, that would have put you out of your high spirits in a jiffy)

Onir - is a goner. Arjun did not pray for himself at the same (?) temple after the confession because he thought Shivji had given him Purvi. Well, she went a slipping from him like butter in a hot pan! Onir is making the very same mistake, not asking anything for himself because Purvi is in his life, wants only her welfare and her baccha's welfare. Good doctor, your wife is like the willow of the wisp, she might disappear from your life in an instant if you do not hang on tightly to what you think is yours.

The only difference between Arjun then and Onir now, Arjun was on the right side of Purvi at the Shivji mandir, this time around Onir is on her left side. Is this a subtle hint that things could be different this time around or did the CVs just forget to adhere to the minute detail of placing Onir on the same side as where Arjun found himself last?

Baba/Priest - felt bad for him, poor misguided man, blessed Purvi and Arjun's jodi and their baby but was quick to give the same blessing to Ovi and Arjun and "their" baby. Which blessing will come true? Which baby is Arjun's? Is this a hint that both are in fact his? Including Ovi's? What chance of an ARVI reunion if Purvi herself is praying for Arjun & Ovi's rishta? The blessing to Ovi from the priest was after the blessing to Purvi. Does this indicate the first relationship is over and the second one has well and truly begun? Or are the CVs just leading us a merry dance, ring, ring a roses?

Punni - is Nemesis catching up with her at last? Poor girl. Can she get outwitted and outsmarted by the sleazy Mittal?

Last but not the least, the blackmailer - he sounded like Purvi's ex-boss the man that had hired Purvi to get back at Arjun.

We are in on this ride, sadly cannot quit midway.

Jahnvi loved your post. What an analysis of all the characters, Im just waiting for the truth about Purvi's baby to come out, then all hell will break loose.

BTW most of the people think that the blackmailer is Vinay, the guy Purvi was engaged to.

Jahnvi why Arjun putting his hands on Ovi is Yuck?? He is her husband or she is his wife? Normal couple are supposed to behave this way as they move on with their marriage..

When he bless arjun and ovi he said bhagwan tum dono ka also tum dono ka bache ka he dont said tunhare to arjun and ovi but tum dono ka that can be also a hint that ovis baby is not from arjun

Very good ramblings :) the same stuff is going on in my head too...except that I know for a fact that whichever temple they go to...whichever side they stand on...their prayers were never answered and will not be answered. Their relationships fly in exactly the opposite directions always... Agree with each n every comment you made on all the characters...I felt the same too :( yuck yuck n more yuck...but cant leave the show midway :)

Dear Varsha, not yucks because Arjun is hugging his wife, would be okay if he was not still hankering after Purvi, he still obviously loves Purvi. In the Onir Purvi relationship, Onir does do the knee touching but that would be like Ovi touching Arjun, the two are in love with their spouses. Not sure of the state of mind of their respective spouses!

As far as the ARVI reunion, for me it would depend on whether Arjun, in actuality, did not father Ovi's child and whether Onir turns negative. Both look unlikely at this point but who knows what masala the CVs will churn out for us. I would have definitely liked to see ARVI together, it is nice to see young love rewarded and together but in this present scenario, I will plead the fifth while still maintaining that I want Ovi to be punished. Arjun has suffered, Purvi is suffering, Ovi is the only one with her little piece of heaven. Doesn't sit right with me that she gets off scot free. My POV :) unless she is truly repentant not just towards Arjun but towards Purvi and Archana at the grief and turmoil she has caused. Maybe then, she can have her itsy bitsy piece of heaven. Not sure if that could ever happen as it may not be possible for Ovi to think long enough about anybody else to realize the wrongs she has done.

It didn't sound like 'sweet' Vinay and side profile I thought looked different.
