there r 2 situations which could be made out from precape
1. as zoya was not in the precape means he already scold her and asked her to leave Bhopal and not to touch his ammi as she only responsible for her condition.
2. as doctor was saying that there no chance of survival of asad 's mom so anyhow zoya saves her and asad and zoya becomes friends
