A nice 50th episode!!
I liked the loneliness theme they chose for this epi.!!
Shree down with the fever and not being able to accompany the team... hmm, I wonder whether the actor was not available for those scenes (if so it was a nice cover-up).
The obvious supsect Jay obviously turns out not to be a suspect. And while Mala didn't seem to be a suspect or in any way related to the kidnapping in the beginning... when she stressed about her not having friends and she wanting a b'day party like Sheena's, etc... I did wonder whether this has any imp to the case.
And Mala having OCD and her obsession with the number 3 was a nice touch... and the way Arjun deduced this was nice!! And finally, Mala's reason for kidnapping the two girls because she didn't have any friends and wanted someone with her to celebrate her b'day was actually sad... her loneliness plus the depression after her mother's death having made her to commit this crime.
I liked how in the end, Arjun has tears in his eyes when he spoke with her... and Mala gave a small smile and went (looks like no one ever understood her spoke kindly with her like this). And it looked like Arjun could relate to her. Arjun's concluding dialogue was touching.
And Sam!!... Ooh so Arjun and Rathore were good friends once upon a time. Good to see this being revealed!! I wonder what happened to make them part? Was it related to what happened to Roshini and the Sikander issue? Maybe whatever happened might have been why Rathore wasn't keen on having Arjun in the team in the first epi... although they have come a long way since then and are able to deal with each other professionally.
