Hospital
The episode begins with Jagya (J) telling Lal Singh that he is worried since Ganga (G) is still unconscious and that he will stay till she regain consciousness. But Lal Singh tries to convince him to go back home and that he will be there if G needs attention. J leaves asking Lal Singh to call him if need be.
Badi Haveli
Every one is worried as to why J has not returned yet. J then enters. Dadi Sa (DS) asks J how G is doing? J replies that she is out of danger but has still not regained consciousness. DS then asks J who G was and how J knows her. J tells DS her name and says that he is responsible for this state of G. Everyone is shocked to hear this. DS asks J to explain the details. J tells everyone that in the name of relatives G has a few monsters who make her work all day and then torture her. He reveals how G was brought to the clinic for treatment with her mouth tied so that she cannot ask for help. He tells them that she bears all this torture just for the sake of her kid. He has a doubt that she might have tried to escape again but just as usual she was caught.
He tells them that her husband beat her up badly and took the kid away leaving her behind. He tells then how G is still struggling more from the pain of being separated from her kid rather than the pain of her own wounds. DS tries to make J understand that he can only heal the wounds of his patients but cannot remove their sorrows completely since each person has to face their own fate. Basant then asks J why does he blame himself for G's sorrows since its her husband who is ill treating her? He reveals the incident how G tried to escape and because of him was caught by her husband. He tells them that he still feels guilty that due to his help Ratan caught G or else she would have been living freely with her kid today. Bhairav makes J understand that he should not feel guilty since he unknowingly did it and that now he is trying to help G in whatever way he can. Saying this Bhairav asks J to freshen up and rest for a while. J leaves to his room
DS looks very happy and tells everyone that this is their loving son who they had lost for a while but he rediscovered himself and is back among them. DS tells them that she is proud of the way J removed Varun's fear. She also reveals that he lost the kite flying competition on purpose so that Shiv (S) looks better in the eyes of everyone. Everyone looks happy hearing this. Bhairav tells DS that S and Anandi (A) are their own, but J is doing so much for an outsider like G which proves that he is a very kind person. DS feels very proud and says that she has lost hope of J reforming but she is happy that he is back.
DS tells them that she hoped this change came in him earlier which would have prevented him from facing so many hardships. Bhairav tells DS that he is happy that J has changed for the better although late. DS then says that although the old J is back, the person who would have brought more brightness in his life is no longer a part of his life- Anandi. Everyone looks shocked as well as sad to hear this.
In the next scene, (In Bahirav and Sumitra's room) Bhairav tells Sumitra that he will be taking Basant to the hospital the next day to run a few tests. Sumitra is concerned and asks if Basant is unwell. Bhairav tells Sumitra about the plans that Basant and Gehna have about a second child. He also tell her that J will be handling the case personally. Sumitra is very happy on hearing this for Gehna and Nandu. Sumitra asks Bhairav if DS knows about this. But Bhairav tells her that they will reveal it to DS only after the tests results come positive. Sumitra agrees and says that there is no point in raising the expectations of DS without anything concrete. Bhairav asks her is she will be able to manage all the house hold work alone since Gehena will have to take bed rest. She says that he news of a new member itself is enough to invigorate her. She also says that the house needs a daughter which is void after Suguna and A left. Seeing Sumitra's excitement, Bhairav teases he asking if she has any similar thoughts in her mind and if she does he will talk to J to handle their case as well. Sumitra laughs it out and says that she is hoping A gives them a good news soon.
Shiv's quarters
A is making the bed when she sees a wrapped gift below her pillow. She looks at it with excitement when S enters and asks her to open it. A opens the gift where she finds a small note saying Happy first Sankrant. She then sees a pair of gold bangles in it. S tells A to wear the bangles and show him before she thanks him for it. She asks him why she should wear it now. S tells her that she had promised him that she will do whatever he tells her to do if he wins the kite competition. A agrees and wears the bangles. S compliments A saying that the bangles looks very pretty on her. A asks him if she can thank him now? She says 'Thank you collector sahab" and then, "sorry Shiv". S says he is happy that his 500Rs is safe. S then gets ready to sleep when he sees a gift below his blanket. Its reads "A small gift on the occasion of our first Sankrant. A asks him to open it. He happily opens it where he finds a hoodie. S tells A that he loved her gift. A replies that she is happy that he liked it and asks him to wear it. S asks her if he should wear it right now. A tells him that he did not win the kite competition and hence as per their understanding he will have to do everything that she tells him to. S asks her what all does she want him to do, to which A replies that she wants him to wear the gift. S tells her that he is disappointed that she only wants him to wear the hoodie while he was expecting something more. A blushes. S wears the hoodie while A lovingly looks at him. S wears the hoodie after which A zips it to fully fasten it. While doing this S adoringly watches A. The episode ends with an eye lock.
Voice over: In spite of accepting the changed circumstances, many at times a person cannot put an end to his/her inner dilemma. Due to this even if one is willing he/she cannot do justice to his/her new role.
Precap: Continuation of the last scene where S-A have an eye-lock and S extends his hand to touch A's cheek. Next scene J treating G in the hospital where one of the ward boys identifies G. He calls Ratan to inform him about G's whereabouts. Ratan asks the ward boy to kill G.
