Saira Banu jokingly tells Shah Rukh Khan to do a DNA test.

Every actor worth his salt has aped the thespian of the film industry Dilip Kumar. Fifteen years ago, when Shah Rukh Khan entered the film industry, he was also accused of aping the legend. But everytime he was compared to the thespian, Shah Rukh took it as a compliment.

But now when the comparison was made by none other than Dilip Kumar's wife and yesteryear actor Saira Banu, SRK didn't know how to react.

Saira who has often confessed to being extremely fond of SRK, finds striking similarities between her husband and King Khan. She confided in a friend that Shah Rukh's mannerisms and intellect are very similar to those of her husband.

Perhaps that's what compelled her recently, at the music launch of their production, to jokingly remark, "Shah Rukh, I must do a DNA test on you. How come my husband and you have so many similarities?"To which a blushing SRK replied, "Yes, you must do it."

Interestingly, many years back, an old lady claiming to be SRK's mother would wait outside Dilip Kumar's bungalow for hours in order to meet him.

Dilip Kumar who used to find this quite funny and odd had remarked then, "If she is Shah Rukh's mother, than she should go to his house. Why does she stand outside my house?"
