Who gets to decide what is meaningful and significant cinema and what is not?

What I believe is meaningful and significant is when an actor's performance is noteworthy irrespective of what genre the movie is.

It is discriminating if you believe that only "good" actors act in ART movies and "actors who sell their soul for stardom" that act in mainstream and commercial cinema.

Ajay Devgn is in the 100 cr club, but he can give most so-called "art film" actors a run for their money, oh, my bad, he is.

Ranbir and Priyanka pulled off a 100 cr Barfii with a simple, sweet movie, with no item songs or item girl, no brand name or flash, just good acting.

I agree when one of the poster said that he needs to be more mature in his interviews.

As for Farhan, he is of the latest pop cult, entertainment for now and quite enjoyable. Will we remember it 20 years down the line? Who knows?

If you can't say something at least a bit decent about someone, why not just keep mum?

It's okay to not like someone's work but to be so explicit about it especially if you're considered such a fine, respectable actor is really uncalled for.

Wonder how Farhan feels about it having worked with him.
